Product Review: Irresistible Me Royal Remy Clip In Hair Extensions

Royal Remy Hair Extensions

The Irresistible Me crew all the way from New York, contacted me some weeks ago, asking me to pick out clip-in hair extensions to review. I was super excited and immediately picked this straight Royal Remy clip-in hair extensions in 24 inches, 200 g set (10 pieces) in Royal Natural Black colour (1b). This included 1 pack of 4 clips (7.5″), 2 packs of 3 clips (6″), 5 packs of 2 clips (4″), 2 packs of 1 clip (1.2″).

This is my first time wearing clip in hair extensions, I am usually rocking wigs, weaves or braids so you can imagine how excited I was to try this out.

Here is what Irresistible Me has to say about the Royal Remy Clip In Hair Extensions:

Royal Remy is our premium line of clip-in hair extensions. We use top of the line hair and a special treatment unique to Irresistible Me to add extra silkiness and durability and make these the best hair extensions you can find.

The thickness of the hair is amazing – it’s the same from the top to the bottom of the weft which will provide a lot of body and bounce while wearing them.

So let’s start from the beginning; the hair extensions were well packaged and came in this neat cute box below.

I love the cheesy quotes written inside the box. It added a personal touch to the package.

Here are my thoughts on the Royal Remy Hair Extensions:

PROS

  1. The delivery was very fast and efficient. I could track my parcel online which was fab.
  2. The packaging is cute and very personal, like I said earlier.
  3. The hair extensions blend in nicely with my hair, which gives a natural look.
  4. The hair extensions are soft, smooth and silky, thick and bouncy.
  5. The clip ins are very effective and they provide a secure/firm hold.
  6. They are super easy to put in, it took me a couple of minutes to install them in and I am no professional.
  7. The quality of hair extensions is fantastic, minimal shredding and no tangling whatsoever. I have brushed and straightened the hair extensions and the quality is simply WOW.

  1. Well I never! Instant long hair! Intriguing! What are they made of? Man made fibres? Real hair (if so, whose hair is it!). I can see how this product could be very useful!

  2. I’ve got long hair so never needed to wear extensions. I was actually put off after seeing a few super bad ones! But yours look quite natural and blend well with your own hair

  3. Wow this is amazingly beautiful. I have never used this before but seeing the way it looks on you, i think i will give it a go. It looks so natural, i love it it really suits you.

  4. Oh wow, that actually looks really natural!! I don’t have a need for extensions or anything like that but I’ve always thought that they’d be really noticeable. Well apparently not! You look great with long hair 🙂

  5. Hi Stella. First time commenter here. No I haven’t used clip-on extensions yet but have often had a mind to get some. I do, however, have a couple of pony tails to plump up my pitifully fine Celtic hair. And many years ago I had monofibre extensions which eventually turned into dreadlocks. When I took them out my hair was nicely dreaded (which is what I had been aiming for anyway!).

  6. It’s very nice! really suits u dear.do u weave ur hair under like u want to do a sew in? Or u jus clip on. Am a bit confused on clip ons
