The Christmas Dress Wish Lyst

While doing some online Christmas shopping, I came across this really cool site called Lyst, and it has kept me so very busy. For those who haven’t heard of Lyst, let me break it down to you, it is an online fashion platform based in London and New York, stocking various pieces, accessories and jewellery, from over 11,000 stores and designers worldwide. It is like the coolest online fashion destination ever, with pieces from River Island, Asos, Missguided, Mango, Karen Millen, Michael Kors and many more, all on one site.

This online fashion platform is also like a smart app, as the shopping experience is unique to every user. The more you use the platform, the more it learns about your style and your shopping habits. and the more tailored your shopping experience will be. Shoppers can also ‘lyst’ items to plan their wardrobes and create wish lists, and be alerted when whatever they ‘lyst’ goes on sale or comes back in stock. Isn’t that great? I think it is a very clever idea, I am like a kid in a candy store whenever I am on this website.

I have fallen hopelessly in love with dresses in the last couple of months, and I am sure you would have noticed that from my outfit posts. There are so many stylish dresses in the stores now, I can’t seem to get enough of them at the moment, my skirts and jeans are taking a much-needed break, while I explore my new-found love.

Here are 5 dresses I currently have on my Christmas Wish Lyst, I hope Santa is reading.

River Island Black Check Cowl Neck Ovoid Dress

This soft touch dress with a slouchy fit is super stylish. I can see myself wearing these with sneakers and tights, or knee-high boots. That would be so stylish.

Karen Millen Knitted Tunic Dress

Karen Millen Tunic Dress

This tunic dress would be a great wardrobe addition this season. It is a versatile piece, perfect for formal events, the office, and even dinner dates, once styled appropriately. If Santa grants my wish, I will be rocking this beauty with opaque tights and sky-high heels.

Mcq Alexander McQueen Black and White Knitted Wool Dress

This black and white wool dress will be fantastic for the chilly weather. If I had this, I would style it up with a pair of ankle boots and a clutch bag, just like how I styled my latest outfit post.

Topshop Rib Roll-neck Bodycon Dress

I am sure you are happy to see this is not another little black dress on the ‘lyst’. This is in fact a teal bodycon dress I like, and I would love to have this piece.  It would look amazing with bare legs (weather permitting) and ankle boots or knee-high boots. I love the colour so much.

Adolescent Clothing Black Christmas Sweater Dress

This playful casual sweater will be great to wear on a lazy morning. I love the cheekiness of it. I would happily style this sweater with a pair of white white socks and white sneakers.

What do you think of these pieces? Which is your favourite? Drop me a comment, let’s chat.

Thanks for reading and have a lovely Friday!

Not sure this is good enough for the cold weather- Adolescent Clothing Black Christmas Sweater Dress

  2. You’ve got some great picks, I love the Alexander McQueen dress! I actually use Lyst as I love you can get sale updates or when something you like comes back in stock! xo

  3. I love a cosy sweater dress. Dress it down with boots and thick tights or dress it up with heels and sheer tights. So adaptable!
