Angelina Jolie’s most applauded persona must be that of the successful actress valued for her talent and her edge. Yet, Florence Nightingale Angelina is also the Special Envoy of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
Angelina is a Hollywood powerhouse, juggling her roles and business and wielding the system in her favor with, passion, and commitment. She is also the mother of six adorable children. With all the hassle these roles imply, Angelina is always a stunningly beautiful presence. That’s why she’s this week’s beauty muse on Fashion and Style Police. It might be Angelina’s simple, down-to-earth style that keeps her look fresh and crisp. Think about it: she seems to be running her life on fast-forward. Nonetheless, she doesn’t break a sweat. At least not publicly. That’s one of the reasons why she’s an inspiration to women around the world and a constant challenge to herself. Angelina wants to push boundaries, discover her limits and inspire the world.
In this organized chaos, the beauty muse doesn’t particularly have the time for frivolities. She’s seldom spotted wearing make-up. With the exception of mascara and light eyeshadow, she rarely displays any other carefully constructed make-up. As for her attire, despite the tone of luxurious items, Angelina never goes over the top. Her outfits are clean, simply cut, without extravagant accessories. She rarely wears any other jewelry than her pearls.
While pleading for the cause of women in war in front of the United Nations Security Council, Angelina wore her signature earrings: the pearl studs.
She wears pearl studs at movie premieres, while attending high-level conferences, during outings with her children, and even her beloved simple pearl studs at her wedding.

Unlike most celebrities, I think Angelina Jolie deserves all the accolades she gets. She’s a fantastic role model! She does a lot for charity and by publicising her battle with cancer she has helped others going through it.
She is also beautiful on the outside and doesn’t cake herself in mske up. I think she’s great.

I tried to use AJ as an inspiration when I had recent breast surgery. I asked for a reconstruction like Angelina’s. The surgeon said it was not available on the NHS!
Oh ok. I am not surprised it is not availble on the NHS. NHS is becoming more and more limited these days.

I never used to like her, but over the years I have changed my mind and think she is such an inspiration to other women, although she is one of a huge hollywood couple, they keep their children grounded and her openess at her battle with cancer. She really is an amazing woman x
