So this week’s outfit is featuring some new wardrobe additions, starting with this zebra print textured dress. I found this beauty online, on sale, while doing some ‘window online shopping’, and I knew I had to have it. I am so into dresses at the moment, I find myself wanting to buy them a lot lately for a weird reason. Guess a girl can never have too many dresses, right?
The only issue I have with this dress is, it is a dry clean only piece. I find dry clean only pieces so expensive to own, and I fortunately and unfortunately now have quite a few of them now, so I won’t be buying anymore. Apart from the fact that this dress is a hassle to clean, I love everything else about it, and I will be wearing it for a long time.
I paired this monochrome textured shift dress with this black faux leather jacket, which is also a new wardrobe addition. Remember in my January Fashion Wishlist, I mentioned I needed a leather jacket. Well, I have needed a leather jacket since my last piece – Guess leather jacket, gave up on me some months ago. I originally wanted a 100% real leather jacket but I couldn’t afford it, so faux leather will do for now. They pretty much look the same, leather and faux leather (here is me trying to console myself), don’t they? Whatever…….
I prefer this leather jacket to my previous leather jacket. This is from a petite range, so it has a perfect fit, and I adore the biker look and the gold zip detail. I think it is so cool.
The monochrome flat shoes are also new. I needed a comfy pair to run errands in, and still look good enough for outfit photos, and casual outings, and this ticked all the boxes. My new favourite pair for spring.

Oh nice. Thanks for reading xo
So I still don’t own a biker jacket. One day I will. Nice pairing
Thank you xo
Love this look, although you’re right, the dry cleaning aspect does tend to put me off purchases some times. It’s just extra hassle. You do look fab though!
Thanks Jess xo
I do own a biker jacket, must wear it more! Lovely outfit and I love the bag!
Thanks Naomi xo
I love the look on you. The dress wouldn’t suit me but it’s definitely you. The bikers jacket is great with it. You look fab.
Just a tip re dry cleaning. It is ofcourse entirely up to you if you try it or not. I rarely dry clean dry clean only item. I wash them in a cold wash in the washer. Wool gentle is the one I use on my washer. I then dry them flat before ironing.
Alot of clothing that is dry cleaning is because it needs that cold wash (as hot will shrink it) or wash it in cold water by hand using surf handwash. It hasn’t failed me yet.
Ofcourse if it is an expensive piece I would be more cautious. I have 2 items rarely worn (really dress up clothing) I dont do this with but it might be something you want to try.
Google it to confirm as alot of articles say the same.
P.S: before posting I had a quick look on Google. Here is 1 article that tells you about dry cleaning items at home, with what to risk or not.

I love a good leather jacket. Faux or real! I recently got a real one from zara and it was actually pretty affordable. Under £100! X
Yea I think I saw that piece while shopping around. I wanted 100% original leather, so it was going to cost about £400, which I was looking to spend x
