This year, I made a vow to myself to try more beauty products. There were some brands I have heard only good things about, Urban Decay being one of them, so I was eager to try out some of their products. I got this Urban Decay Meltdown Makeup Remover some months ago, from the local Debenhams for £18, while holidaying in Essex, and I am proud to say this is my very first Urban Decay product. I have never tried any product from the brand, so I was happy to try this, to see what the hype is about.
Here is the product description:
You love our longest-lasting products, but how do you take them off?! This nourishing formula will ensure that makeup removal doesn’t throw you into fits. You love Urban Decay’s longest-lasting products, but how do you take them off?! Sometimes you need a makeup remover that’s as mighty as the most powerful products in your beauty arsenal, which is why Urban Decay created Meltdown! This stuff can take down Urban Decay’s longest-lasting products.
This creamy gel is non-greasy, so you don’t have to wash off any residue after you use it, and the light fragrance is uplifting but never obtrusive.Fill Weight: 73.9ml
Honest review! I’ve not tried this as I’m more of a let my cleanser do everything type girl. My favourite is by LUSH – Ultrabland but I have also been using l’occitane shea cleansing oil but being realistic any oil will break down make-up so I keep EVOO handy in the bathroom! x
I need to try LUSH. I am yet to try any if the products.
No I haven’t tried this. I cleanse, tone and moisturiser in the morning. On a night to take my make up off I use sensitive cleansing wipes (they remove everything with 1 wipe) then splash with cold water, tone and night moisturiser
Thank you for the review. I think I will stick with what I do. I am glad you reviewed though as it helps me make up my mind on any new product I haven’t tried
Keep doing what you are doing already. Sounds like you have an amazing skincare routine x
I haven’t tried this one before but you did an amazing review.

Happy Friday Hun xo
This sounds great. I have tried a few make up removers and either find they’re too harsh for my sensitive skin or that they don’t remove the make up at all well. I’ll definitely try this one.
You may not like this Georgina but a trial will convince you.
I havnt tried any of the urban decay products before. Thank you for the review. I may check this out! 🙂
Thanks for reading Nikki xo
I have not tried this make before, I am not 100% if I would only because I prefer softer lotions on my face and the stinging side is putting me off. Thank you for an honest review, it is lovely to hear the cons as well as the pros x
Thanks for reading xo
Oh wow, I don’t like the sound of the stinging! I’ve never had a makeup remover that stings before.
Corinne x
Yea this stings when you have on too much.
I agree Iprefer face washes too, plus the fact that this one stings isn’t good considering the price.
Yea face washes and cleansers are the best.
I thought this was alright until using too much makes your skin sting put me off x
Yea it does.
I haven’t tried this before but I’ve heard so much about this brand! Thank you for sharing. xo
Great review! Really honest. I never used it, I usually use a cleanser from Vichy. Removes heavy makeup really well 🙂
I am yet to try ny Vichy product. I should really xo
Great review, I have not tried this product before and I hardly wear makeup but when I do and I have to remove it I use my cleansers
Thanks for reading Anosa x
What an honest review.
I have really sensitive skin so this might not be the best thing for me either, baby wipes do the job just as well! 😉😂

Baby wipes can do the work but am not sure of how good they are for the skin..Thanks x
Oh no it sucks that it stings, I have sensitive skin but I am always game to try anything! I am yet to tr Urban Decay.
Yea it does suck.
A stinging makeup remover doesn’t sound very fun! Ouch! Still, it does sound rather effective.
It wasn’t fun at all..
I’ve not heard of this at all, but then I’m a cleanser make up remover lover and buy a much cheaper product
I prefer cleansers and face washes too.
