Another day, another celebrity style post. Today, it is all about who wore this Gucci floral outfit better? Khloe Kardashian or Lupita Nyong’o? Both ladies are rocking similar versions of the Gucci Spring/Summer 2016 floral piece. Khloe Karadashian has on a Gucci floral shirt dress, styled by celebrity stylist, Monica Rose, while Lupita Nyong’o has on the same shirt plus a matching skirt also by Gucci.
I am on the fence with both looks, I am not quite sure which I prefer, but I know for a fact that I am not a fan of both looks. Khloe was obviously going for a sexier outfit with the messy hair, bare legs and sandals, and it works as she has the body to show off, but if I was to style her, I would pick a different pair of sandals. A simple pair will not compete for attention with the busy floral dress, and the outfit will look more effortless. I will also change the hairstyle, I am not a fan of that at all.
With Lupita, I guess she was going for the full-on floral look, which is very bold and very stylish when styled correctly, but she got this look so wrong. Lupita should have gone for a mini or midi skirt, to show off a bit of skin. This maxi skirt on her looks too dowdy and old-fashioned. She looks like a much older woman dressed like this. A shorter skirt would have looked divine on her. I am not a fan of the pink shoes she has on either. They make her look so frumpy. A pair of black strappy sandals would have looked amazing on her.
I guess if I was forced to pick 1, I would go for Khloe’s look, because it looks easier to re-style. Which look do you prefer and why? Drop me a comment please.

I agree I don’t like the long maxi either it needs to be shorter to show off her amazing legs. The short styled with the sandals looks much younger and more my style, but I would never get away with it.

I prefer Chloe’s look. Perfect length if you have great legs as she clearly does!
I do not like the length of Lupita’s dress or the colour and style of her shoes.

This is a very difficult look to pull off. I agree with you on that Lupita’s look would be softer with a shorter select of dress. I like her white pairing more though as the black belt and shoes Khloe has on ‘jarr’ a bit for me. Khloe’s messy hair adds an element of ‘fun’ and light girlie touch to her look, which I prefer more if I have to choose.

Khloe is definitely rocking the dress. I prefer her length which brought out the beautiful sandals more. The dress is funky on her.

I don’t like the outfits. I agree with you on the sandals and pink shoes, both aren’t the best option for the rest of the outfit.

I don’t like the dress. On Chloe it is such a matronly look. The shoes don’t suit either, It looks better on Lupita, if I had to choose one, because the length is altered. She has the legs to show it off..
I like Lupita’s look better. I like the fun look of her hair and the shoes. I do not like the top part of the dress on either Lupita or Chloe. As I said it is very matronly.
Lupita just! The dress is a big no from me. I would not have put it on either of them or anyone for that fact. I think it’s a fashion faux pas

See I disagree Lupita looks great in anything and I love the longer length it is classier than Khloe’s but I do like the skirt on Khloe’s Gucci dress.

I’m not overly keen on the long dress. I do like how Khloe styled hers though! I think I would have picked different sandals too. I’m also not a big fan of either outfit but both ladies look great! xx
