I have been using this Prada Candy Florale Eau de Toilette for months now and this is the first Prada perfume I have ever used, so I was really excited to try it. This fragrance was launched in 2014, and it consists of Limoncello as top notes, Peony as heart notes and Musks, Benzoin, Caramel as base notes.

Prada’s latest fragrance evolved from the concept of an imaginary flower created especially for Candy. Of course, Candy cannot simply have any flower. Her fantasy flower must be unique, embodying her many facets: the fragrance’s light airiness puts the sparkle in her, followed by tender powdery notes that echo her Spring-like grace. A final whisper of warmth and honey reflects Candy’s rich sensuality.
Here are my thoughts on this perfume:
PROS
- I love the packaging. I think the bottle is very unique and pretty.
- It smells great. It has a clean, light summery scent which is perfect for the spring/summer season.
- It is a great everyday fragrance.
- The perfume came with a body lotion which smells as good as the perfume.
- It is easily accessible. You can get this perfume in most departmental stores online and in the shops.
CONS
- It is not long-lasting. It stays on for only few hours.
- It is quite pricey at £54 for a 50ml bottle.
I won’t be buying this perfume again as I don’t think it is good value for money. It smells lovely and it looks pretty, but what is the point in that if the fragrance doesn’t stay on? Kind of defeats the purpose if you ask me. If I spend £54 on a bottle of perfume, I will need it to stay on ALL day.
If you want a light sweet fragrance for the summer season, and you are not bothered about how long the fragrance stays on, then buy this.

I think that is the problem with a lot of perfumes these days, they are so pricey. I think we get drawn in by the packaging don’t we, I tend to stick to certain scents these days.
Yea they come in very attractive bottles these days..My weakness.
I love the sound of the combination of notes in this perfume- I’ll have to go in store and have a smell I think!

Nice review. It will save some of us from wasting out time while searching. What is the purpose of the ‘parfum’ label if I can wear it for a long time? I have never used this perfume before and I will definitely not buy it. I just ran out of my Flowers by Kenzo and I am in search of a new one.
Try Marc HJacobs Decandence if you havn’t already. I reviewed it some weeks ago.
Beautiful by Estée Lauder is very long lasting. Also, the Givenchy Dahlia Davin is wonderful too.
Pretty bottle! And I love the idea of a matching body lotion. I tend to always buy the same perfume though – it’s a bit too expensive for me to buy loads of different kinds!
Yea it can be expensive but I like trying different scents. I get bored quickly.

The bottle is beautiful but I would want it to last all day for that hefty price tag! It’s not something I think I’d buy now.

Unfortunately most perfumes give me migraines so I don’t wear any scents at all! But if I did, I would certainly want them to last a bit longer for that price!

I am a sucker for a Limoncello scent but like you the £54 price tag would be a massive con for me and its sad to hear it does not last long, especially for that price!
