Cara Delevingne Covers British Vogue September 2016

Cara Delevingne On Vogue Image

The stylish Cara Delevingne is on the cover of British Vogue September 2016 issue and she looks good. I am loving the cover a lot. I like the fact that it is quite colourful with the blue jacket and red background. I love her pose, hair and makeup, but then it is Cara Delevinge so I am surprised. She nails everything she touches!

This issues promises to be a good read. The 23-year-old model gushes about her new-found love in her interview:

“I’m completely in love… Before, I didn’t know what love was – real love,” she told us of her relationship with American singer-songwriter Annie Clark (known by her stage name St Vincent). “I didn’t understand the depth of it. I always used to think it was you against the world. Now I know the meaning of life is love. Whether that’s for yourself or for the world or your partner.”

She sounds happy so I am happy for her. Love is a beautiful thing and everyone deserves to experience it.

Cara Delevingne also talks about her transition into Hollywood, and about the gender pay gap:

“I’m still learning. I act for love. I give it my all,” she revealed of her more recent pursuit. “I would probably still do it even if I wasn’t paid at all. But in terms of equal pay I need to be paid the same as the guy who has equal billing with me. Otherwise I won’t do it. Because if you accept less, you’re just letting everyone else down and continuing the cycle.”

I agree with her 100%. I find it bizarre that we still have this gender pay issue today. I mean it is 2016. I am not going to bore you guys with my feminist views, but we really should not have to deal with the same issues previous generations had to deal with.

Apart from Cara’s interview, I would also love to read ‘The big 7 trends you’ll want to wear’ and ‘Vogue’s guide to go-getting style’. Both articles sound like a good read.

Will you be reading this issue? What do you think of the cover?

  1. I also find it bizarre that we need to address the gender based gap in pay! It’s ridiculous. On another note, I love Cara. Her personality is just so fresh and lovely

  2. I agree. We shouldn’t have the same issues as women did in the past. I love the first picture too. Eye catching.
