I remember checking my makeup bag one day and wondering why I didn’t have a bronzer. I heard about bronzers prior to trying one and I only heard good things. So I decided to buy this The Body Shop Baked-To-Last Bronzer. I have used it for some months now, and I like everything about it. Before I dive right into the review, here is what The Body Shop has to say about this product:
A natural-looking bronzer with a subtle shimmer. Handmade and slow-baked on a terracotta disc, it gives up to eight hours of colour.
- Lasts up to eight hours
- Handmade
- Dermatologically tested
Here are my thoughts:
PROS
- I love the shade. I got mine in a warm glow and it suits my skin tone perfectly.
- It is a multi-tasking product. I sometimes use it as a highlighter, or I apply it all over my face with a powder brush, if I want a bit of glow.
- It stays on all day. It is definitely baked to last.
- It is quite affordable at £16.
- I love the texture. It feels so light on my face.
- It does not feel cakey and it is so easy to blend.
CONS
- I won’t use this to contour bronzer because of the shimmer.
I can clearly see myself buying this The Body Shop Baked-To-Last Bronzer. I am so very impressed with the product. It delivers as promised, and it even exceeded all my expectations. I recommend this bronzer to any woman in need of a new multi-tasking product in her makeup bag. The Body Shop Baked-To-Last Bronzer leaves you with a beautiful glow. It is definitely worth trying.

I’m not too keen on shimmer so not sure this would be good for me either. Its good to hear its light on the face and a good price.
Yea a great price Angela.
Arrr I love these powders they are so super soft!
It is Clare.
I haven’t tried this product yet but I will now be on the lookout for it especially as summer will be ending soon!
Yea so worth trying.
I’ve never tried this product before, i’m a big fan of Bare Minerals but i’ll certainly give this a try! Xx
It is worth a try Faye.
While I don’t really wear make-up, I wouldn’t choose that product either because of the shimmer, although I think the shade would suit me too. x
Yea the shimmer wont work as a bronzer for me either.
I love that Body Shop are cruelty free and are affordable however this is a shame it has shimmer in it! I only ever use bronzer to contour but this is a lovely shade! Maybe I should try a new makeup look out! 🙂
Yea they are super affordable.
I like this, yes it’s shimmery but I don’t contour. Think it’s a pretty bronzer
It is Mellissa.
I think it looks so pretty –Hanna Lei

Ah nice.
I must admit that Body Shop bronzers were my favourite products when I was younger but I don’t tend to use them now. I do still love Body Shop make up though, it is really great value
Yea it is..
I used to buy so much stuff from there, I need to go back in! I used to have a bronzer from there that everyone used to borrow!
Ah nice Francesca.
Body Shop bronzers are usually pretty good but I always a bit concerned about the amount of shimmer
Yea I get you.
I do like bronzers but I prefer matte to shimmer x
Yea I prefer matte to shimmer for contouring.
I’ve used the same bronzer for a few years. I think it’s time for a change. Ill give this a whirl when the one I have now runs out. Thank you for the review. Very helfpul
Thank you for reading. Glad you found it helpful.
I love shimmer bronzer! Sounds lovely. I have not been to the Body Shop in ages, must pay them a visit!
It is lovely x
This one is really similar to the Flormar one. It has an absolutely lovely shade but far too dark for me as I’m pale as a ghost hehe
Ah ok..
