Health, Fitness & Skincare Journey

One of my new year’s resolutions was to take my fitness and general health very seriously. Last year, I saw the consequences of not being fit, and I never want to experience any of that again. The body pains and the extra weight were not my cup of tea, so I rather am fit and healthy!

One of the issues with working from home is that it is so easy to be on your laptop, on the sofa all day, which is horrible for the body as you can imagine.

These days, I have been going on daily walks/runs; I easily go past the 10,000 recommended daily steps and I am loving it. I feel better, I look better and I am happier. Well, I guess being fit has a way of doing that to you, plus the amazing scenery at the moment is priceless.

Apart from having a balanced diet, I have also been taking vitamins supplements, and trying to get as much beauty sleep as possible. I am currently taking Vitabiotics WellWoman Vitamins Supplement and Natures Aid Chewable Vitamin C, and I think they are both doing the job, I just need to remember to take them every day.

So health and fitness aside, being in my 30s also means I need to step up my skincare routine and start experimenting with various anti-aging skincare products, which is what I am doing at the moment. I have a few anti-aging products I am testing out and I will be reviewing soon, so keep your eyes open.

If you need to start your own journey towards better health, fitness, and skincare, set yourself some goals to feel inspired and get ready for a healthy and happy 2021.

  1. I have the same problem that I am stuck in front of a computer all day but have also been going for walks to up my steps which I record on my fitbit they really are good. I need to remember to take my vitamins though, duh!

  2. I need to concentrate on my fitness! I am a mess when it comes to what I eat, how I exercise but I just don’t know where to start! I didn’t think of supplements though!!

  3. I sit at home all day too but my Fitbit has done wonders for me also! I’ve fallen out of sync with it lately, having misplaced my charger, but I’m raring to get back with it. It’s so motivational, if you’re close to 8,000 steps one day then it really does push you to get up and go for a walk & hit your target, whereas otherwise, without a fitbit, you wouldn’t even think to do that x

  4. Well done on getting out every day. I would have got you to join my Fitbit challenges but I have just switched to a Garmin. It doesn’t let me be lazy as it beeps at me to move. Drinking lots of water is also good for your skin.

  5. I used to do the 7 minute workout everyday (sometime even twice!) but haven’t had a chance since having my last baby. I think I’m reasonably fit as I do the school run twice a day plus the housework etc. I’m looking forward to summer and spending more time outside.

  6. I agree, running does make you feel better! But when weather is really bad, I dont go and then to get yourself motivated again is tough hehe
