For those who are do not know, I have been transitioning back to my natural hair for some months now, and my hair is almost at the texture I need it to be. My hair is now completely natural, with a few dead textured ends here and there, which I trim off regularly. I didn’t go for the whole ‘big chop’ because I wasn’t comfortable cutting my hair that low, and I am happy I doing it this way, although my transition is taking longer because of it.
I have been on the lookout for a curl enhancing hair product to bring my curls back to life, so I was very happy to try this Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie when my hair stylist introduced it to me.
I have used this on my hair and my daughter’s hair for some weeks now, and I love it!
Here is the product description –
SheaMoisture’s Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie is enriched with natural ingredients to give you soft, silky and defined curls! Enriched with certified organic Shea Butter, this conditioning enhancing smoothie smooths split ends and tames stray flyaways to transition damaged, over-processed hair to gloriously shiny, bouncy curls!
SheaMoisture’s Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie is an all-natural leave on styling cream specially formulated for wavy, curly hair. Coconut oil used in this moisturizing formula hydrates and protects hair against breakage while replenishing lost oils. From one natural to another, might I suggest the line Eden BodyWorks? It is a great line for natural hair. I actually dont like shea that much and only resort to using that line unless I dont have anything else. And Dark and Lovely Au Naturale hair line is the bomb too.
Oh thanks. I will check them out.
Sounds like an amazing product, glad it’s working for you.
