How to Lose the Belly Fat

For many of us, once we pop a kid or 2, our belly never goes back to how it was pre pregnancy. We usually develop a bulge we hide under the girdle. Sexy bikinis and crop tops becomes a thing of the past! We can’t be caught wearing them! Pregnancy changes our bodies in so many ways, and for the most of us, it is hard to accept the new mummy body. I remember how hard I found it in the early days. I lost the pregnancy weight quite quickly but I didn’t lose the belly fat that quickly. It stayed with me, along with the stretch marks to serve like a form of reminder I guess.

So I had to step up my exercise game to get rid of the fat that needed to go, and thankfully, it disappeared after some time. I am still working on my body, and with the help of GymCube – online fitness and nutrition website, that provides live online exercise classes daily and online coaching, I am getting there. I will be updating you on my fitness journey next week, so look out for that post.

How to Lose the Belly Fat

As mothers, we experience all sorts of body changes. This is why I am so passionate about this CoolSculpting treatment. I wish I had the opportunity to have this treatment back then. I would have taken it with both hands.

For those who have never heard of the CoolSculpting treatment, it is a treatment uses the fat freezing technology of Cryolipolysis. It is an effective way of getting rid of fat cells without the need for surgery or needles.

Here is a video with a bit more information on the CoolSculpting treatment carried at Pulse Light Clinic London.

The CoolSculpting treatment can be carried out on the bum, chin, thighs, and back as well as on the belly. I love the sound of the treatment. The fact that you no longer have to go under the knife to lose the belly fat, and fat in other areas is amazing. It is also good to know you can carry out your daily activities immediately after this treatment.

I am happy with how advanced technology is going. Good to know there is now a non-surgical treatment that helps us lose the belly fat. You can contact Pulse Light Clinic for more information on this treatment. You can find them at –

  1. After my first son I lost weight with Weight Watchers (I’ve always been lucky and had a flat tummy). But I’m still trying to lose baby weight after my second son and my tummy isn’t so flat anymore!

    • I have a friend who is exactly in the same situation. She lost all the weight, including the belly fat with the first baby but not with the second.

  2. I have such a belly since having my 3 children. It never used to bother me at first but now my children are getting older and we have holidays booked and a wedding it is really making me feel rubbish. This sounds like a great treatment x

  3. I would love to get rid of my belly fat. My kids are all grown and my belly is still out of shape. 🙁 I have tried dieting, exercising, but not this treatment yet. I was only wondering what should the post-treatment maintenance be like? Dieting? Core exercises? I will do my research. Thanks for sharing!

    • I think maintaining a healthy diet and some form of exercises would keep the belly fat away for good after treatment. Thanks for reading.

  4. Aw you look glowing in that photo! Belly fat post pregnancy is my biggest problem, I am dying to get rid of it – definitely one of the hardest to shift, wah! x

  6. Hey! This is an excellent article! I was sort of surprised having arrived here randomly while procrastinating. I really appreciate the wisdom, body positivity and holistic approach you’ve taken to a well-worn subject. Kudos.
