Send Money Overseas with Paysend

I remember growing up in Nigeria and how difficult it was to send and receive money from country to country. We had to rely on middlemen and reference codes and numbers to get money across and from loved ones. It took a lot of time and multiple phone calls to get this done. I am glad this is no longer the case. It is now so simple to send and receive money abroad thanks to companies like Paysend. For those who have never heard of Paysend, it is a money transfer platform that allows you to send funds from card to card, or from bank account to bank account to over 70 countries. Headquartered in the UK, Paysend is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Paysend has a global 24/7 online support so help is always available.

Send Money Overseas with Paysend

Here is how my experience was with sending money to Nigeria with Paysend and why you should use this money transfer service –

It is secure

Some days ago, I decided to send money to Nigeria through Paysend. The whole process took me a few minutes and it was seamless. The first thing I did was to set up an account on the Paysend website with my details. Once that was done and my email address was verified, I could start sending money. To sign in, all you need to do is to type in your mobile phone number. Once that is done, you get a text with a security code to sign in. I love the sign in process as the security code bit gives me an extra piece of mind. The process feels a lot safer than just a regular password.

The rates are good

I sent money to Nigeria from my bank account to another bank account so there were no additional fees. However, if you are sending to a bank card, the fee is a flat £1, €1.50 or $2 . The process was very straightforward. All I had to do was type in the recipient bank details and the money was sent. The exchange rate was good as well. I compared it with other websites, and the rate I got from Paysend was the highest so their rates are quite competitive.

It is easy to use

Paysend is such an amazing money transfer service. I am glad it is now available for when I need to send money abroad. The fact that I can send money on their website or Paysend App on my iPhone makes it super convenient. This is one money transfer service I can see myself using over and over again. Paysend makes sending money as easy as ordering takeaway! The platform definitely takes the stress out of sending money to family and friends in Nigeria and beyond.
