Mental health is such a trendy topic at the moment, which is good because more and more people can finally open up about their mental health issues. It is so easy to find yourself struggling with your wellbeing these days. Most of us have bad days here and there, but sometimes those bad days could go into weeks/months. That is when it becomes a major issue. There are simple ways you could ensure you stay on top of your bad days, so it does not lead to depression or other mental health problems.

Here are some simple tips for staying well and on top of your mental health –


Sound Sleep

A good night sleep can solve many issues. I always ensure I get at least 7 hours worth of sleep everyday. Anything less than that makes me grumpy the next day. Many people underestimate the power of a good night’s sleep and some other also struggle to fall asleep for the recommended hours. If you struggle to sleep soundly, you can try having an electronic-free time an hour or two before bedtime. Try not to check your phones or tablets while in bed. A nice warm shower and a warm cup of milk  just before bedtime also helps you fall asleep quicker.


Eat Well

Eating a balanced diet and staying hydrated is great for your mental and physical health. Junk foods isn’t great for your overall health, so keep them to the minimum. Skipping meals may also make you grumpy, which will have an effect on your state of mind, so avoid doing so.


Get Moving

Siting is the new smoking, have you heard? Being active is one good way of staying on top of your health. Going for walks are great for your wellbeing. You could also hit the gym or exercise from the comfort of your home. There are so many ways to get moving and stay fit, so this tip should be very easy to smash.

Talk to Someone

If you are struggling with your mental health, speaking to someone you trust can be your first step. You could also speak with your doctor first to get medical advise. Talking does help. You don’t have to keep it all inside.



It is so easy to get busy caring for everyone and everything, while neglecting yourself in the process. Taking time out to relax and unwind is important for the wellbeing. You relax with a book, go for a massage/swim, book a spa day and just spoil yourself or relax watching your favourite tv show.


Taking care of your mental health is very important. It should be everyone’s top priority.

First Impressions

My Nutribuddy Meal Replacement Bundle arrived quickly and was packed properly. After washing the bottle, mug and scoop, I immediately tried it out. The Instructions on how to mix the shakes were simple and straightforward, which was great. I started out with the High Protein Sculpting Shake in Vanilla Flavour, and then I went on to the others. The first mixture I made, I added just plain water and it tasted good. The second time, I added some milk along with water and it tasted even better. So I know add milk to every mixture.


  1. Usually protein shakes don’t taste good, but this is thankfully not the case with Nutribuddy. The shakes are taste amazing. I really like the vanilla flavour.
  2. I love how nutritious the shakes are. These shakes replace meals and snacks, but don’t replace the nutrients.
  3. These shakes fill me up. I use mainly as a snack replacement and they work great.
  4. All products are 100% natural, vegan and cruelty free.
  5. The plastic bottle is 100% BPA-free, leak-proof and dishwasher safe. It makes the shakes super easy to use and it is a very durable bottle.

I really like this Nutribuddy Meal Replacement Bundle. The shakes taste amazing and are super nutritious. Plus they lose some weight and tone up. I am sold on the vanilla flavour but would love to try the other flavours as well.

Series I am watching on Netflix

Watching Netflix is one way I relax. I don’t have as much time as I would love to binge watch my favourite series, but I watch a few hours every week and I look forward to it. It is my own way of unwinding. I am super homely, hardly go anywhere and I don’t feel like I am missing out on anything. I guess that’s why Netflix really works for me. Plus there are so many new movies and series to watch on there. It is sometimes impossible to decide on what to watch, which is why I now have a list on there. That way I go straight to my list to watch what I have added previously. If not I am be undecided all night.

I found the first season of YOU so entertaining and I am now loving the second season. Initially, I struggled to get into it but Ince I did, it is episode after episode. It is definitely worth watching. The lead actor is such a psycho. Do you watch it?



I love POWER so much. It is super entertaining with the twists and turns. I have seen all the new episodes in the new season and waiting on the last set to come through. I can’t wait to see who really killed Ghost. Who do you think it is?


The Stranger

I only just started watching this and I am so into it already. It is a fun storyline with a lot of suspense. I think the acting is amazing and I can’t wait to get to the root of the matter. This is another must-watch on Netflix.


Don’t F***k with Cats

This criminal documentary was quite disturbing to watch but I couldn’t stop watching. It was full of suspense and I found it very informative because it was my first time hearing about the case.  If you love crime, you would love this.


The Witcher

This was a good watch. I have seen a couple of episodes and I like the storyline. Highly recommended for those into the supernatural and fantasy. You won’t want to miss this.
