Naomi Campbell plans to tackle the Ebola virus by raising awareness. The supermodel is planning a Fashion For Relief show to raise awareness. Naomi Campbell is concerned that “people don’t have a clear idea about what Ebola is” and hopes that her events could raise funds to help stop the deadly disease from spreading.
The shows will take place during fashion week in February 2015, with one show slated to be held in New York, and another during London Fashion Week in Campbell’s hometown. Telling Page Six that she has a home in Kenya, she noted that as someone who travels widely she was “scared” about the outbreak, adding: “Ebola does not discriminate.”
