Amber Valletta Covers British Vogue May 2017

Hey peeps! Happy new month. Welcome to the lovely month of May. I am not sure why April went so fast, but it seems like the year 2017 is moving at lightening speed, so we better get on with it.

The stunning model – Amber Valletta covers British Vogue for May 2017, and she looks great on it. She makes another appearance on the British Vogue cover; after her many previous covers. I remember seeing her on the cover of British Vogue December 1994, alongside Kate Moss and Nadia Auermann. She still looks as amazing as she looked on that cover.

On this cover, Amber is wearing a printed wrap dress by Bottega Veneta and her signature grin. She looks so stunning, she has a beautiful smile that has the power to light up a room.

Her outfit, makeup and hair are on point. The cover ticks all the boxes. But it looks very familiar. It looks like all the recent British Vogue, with the grey and orange, so I find it a little boring. I am hoping the next issue is a little different, so it stands out from the rest.

Also, the articles on the cover do not interest so me at all, so I won’t be reading this issue. I am late to the party with this issue anyway. April was incredibly busy, and life got in the way, so this post is kind of late. However, I will be looking out for June’s issue, and hoping the British Vogue team nails it!

In other news, I think Amber Valletta looks a lot like Cara Delevingne, I actually thought it was Cara in the cover for some time. I think they look so much alike. Do you agree?

Kate Moss Covers British Vogue April 2017

British Vogue’s contributing editor – Kate Moss, is the cover girl for  British Vogue April 2017, and she looks amazing as always. This stunning cover was captured by photographic duo Mert Alas & Marcus Piggot, and I think they did a fantastic job.

This is Kate Moss’ 38th Vogue cover, and she slayed it completely. The touch of red takes the cover to a whole new level!

I have seen Kate Moss on more magazine covers than I can remember, but this Vogue cover right here, is the best I have seen in a long time. She looks great, everything about the cover is spot on; from her makeup to her hair, she nailed it!

Moss is known to share a little too much in her interviews, so I am looking forward to reading this issue.

Here are some excerpts from the interview –

On launching her Kate Moss Modelling Agency

“As a model I am prepared to stand in a bikini at the end of an ice glacier when it’s minus 30, because that is what the client has booked me to do and that’s the job,” she explained of launching the agency, which she has been building since last September. “So, as I get older, it seemed like the natural thing to do was to take responsibility for my choices both as a model and with the branding I put my name to.”

“I don’t want a young girl to feel bad if she has to wait around,” Moss said. “I was that person with Steven Meisel, even though I was the face of CK at the time. I had to sit around for days. It can be really hard. I’m maternal; I don’t want the girls to feel insecure.”

I didn’t even know she had her own modelling agency until now. Good for her!

This issue sounds like a good read. I will be looking out for it.

What do you think of this Vogue cover? Will you be reading?

Kate Moss Covers British Vogue May 2016

Kate-Moss-Vogue-UK-May-2016-620x804

British Vogue has been getting all the magazine covers right in my eyes, this 2016. I am totally digging all of them, especially the last cover with Rihanna, and this latest cover is no exception. The beautiful Kate Moss is on the cover of Vogue UK May 2016 issue, looking amazing. The British supermodel is a regular, she has been featured on quite a number of Vogue Covers, and I am not surprised she has, she loves the camera, and the camera loves her.

For this issue, Kate Moss was photographed by Craig McDean. I am loving the rock-chick look she has going on here. It is so her, and she looks so good. The second picture below is giving me life. This should have been the cover picture in my opinion, it is more edgy.

I know Vogue loves having Kate Moss on their cover, and I can understand why, but I am getting bored of seeing her face on the magazine covers if I am being honest. I will like to see other fresh faces on the cover. I personally won’t be buying this issue as it does not excite me at all. I feel I have read all there is to read about Kate Moss, and I know many other readers feel the same. Here are some quotes confirming my thoughts:

Kate Moss on British Vogue’s cover again. AGAIN. Am I the only one wishing they’d branch out once in a while?!?

It amazes me that they always find something to write about Kate Moss.

Very boring, I feel like I’ve seen this before …
Also I’m tired of Kate, she doesn’t bring anything new to the table anymore.

I see where the comments are coming from because I am tired as well.

What are your thoughts? Do you enjoy seeing Kate on magazine covers so often? Sound off in the comment section.

Thanks for reading and have a lovely day.
