I have been eyeing this beautiful dress in Harrods for a while now. It is a nude lace dress by the legendary Diane von Furstenberg. I love the delicate lacy look of the dress and the nude colour. This dress will look divine when paired with cool black heels and a nice clutch.
It currently costs £310 but I am hoping it goes on sale pretty soon.
Penelope Cruz and her sister, Monica Cruz have designed a lingerie collection for the one and only Agent Provocateur. This collection is known as The L’Agent Collection and it features a selection of bra and brief sets, suspenders, basques and baby dolls in various designs. Each piece has been given a Spanish name by the Cruz sisters and the price varies from £18 for a brief to £145 for a corset.
“Penelope and Monica worked fully from collecting sample swathes and colour ways and, working on shapes they liked and things that would work for them,” creative director of Agent Provocateur, Sarah Shotton told Vogue. “They were fully involved in the fits and trying on the collection from the initial design stage.”
The L’Agent Collection is now on sale in various stores like Selfridges, John Lewis, Harrods, House of Fraser amongst others. I cannot wait to take a closer look at this collection in stores.
One of the world’s most famous department store – Harrods is partnering with the French fashion house – Christian Dior on a store takeover this spring. Harrods will feature never before seen exhibitions, displays and in -stores activity.
“Like the house of Dior, Harrods is reputed for astounding and satisfying its elegant women all over the world,” said Sidney Toledano, president and CEO of Christian Dior.
“Our archive team at Harrods unearthed wonderful images of Christian Dior visiting Harrods in the Fifties and this is a beautiful part of the exhibition. Equally stunning dresses worn by the likes of Elizabeth Taylor, Princess Margaret and Lady Diana alongside contemporary designs by Raf Simons are a real highlight,” said Marigay McKee, chief merchant at Harrods.”
The Harrods Dior takeover will run from March 16 to April 14, 2013. I will be visiting Harrods this spring to catch a glimpse of this takeover.
