The practical side of dating can be very tricky sometimes. It can be hard to keep the excitement on in a relationship especially when dealing with disabilities as well as they can limit what you can do together as a couple. Although, the ongoing pandemic has added an extra strain on the dating scene, with most dates now via video calls. This should hopefully get better soon so more ways of dating can be available.
If you are disabled and you are thinking of how to add some spice to your dating life, you are in luck! Here are some great ideas for disabled singles dating –
Enjoy a picnic together
With some warmer weather on the way, having a picnic is a great dating idea. You don’t have to worry too much about social distancing as it should be easy to find a nice spot with plenty of outdoor space. Also, you don’t have to worry too much about menus and allergies as you will preparing and packing your own food. Having a nice picnic is a great way of bonding and getting to know your partner even more. I think it is a great dating idea.
Go for a drive
Another great dating idea is to go for a drive together. I love exploring the countryside. The roads are quiet and the views are breathtaking. It is always a lovely idea to drive around beautiful locations. There is a lot to see, time to talk and you don’t even have to step out of the car which is a major plus for anyone with physical disabilities. It is just an easier way to date outside the house without having to move around too much.
Watch a movie
Once the cinemas are safe and good to go, watching a movie is always a great way to enjoy some quality time with your date. Watching a great movie together in the comfort of your home is another way to spend some time together. There are loads of affordable online platforms you could watch new movies on.
Enjoy a massage together
This is one of my favourite dating ideas. I love a good massage every now and again like many other people. It is a great way to unwind and relax. I love how I feel after a good full body massage. Having a massage simultaneously with your date is a great way to relax and it us also a very intimate experience.
