Asia is vast, Asia is amazing, and Asia is one of the best holidays you will ever have, hands down. If you haven’t thought about planning an Asian adventure before, then you need to change your mind asap. If you were looking for a part of the world with some truly magical destinations, and most which are full to the brim with Asian culture, then a trip of there is what you need to plan. There’s so many different parts you could visit, and some are more popular than others when it comes to attracting tourists. But the lesser popular ones should always be considered, as they can often offer the most. Java
Java is one of the best Asian islands to visit. It is one of the many Indonesian that people love to visit each year, and for a good reason. There’s just so much to do there, and so many different parts of it to explore. One of the coolest is Yogyakarta. It’s a city located within Java that is best known for its history and culture. There’s plenty of places to stay as well, such as the Yogyakarta Marriott Hotel that will offer you a great service and a central location. Whilst in Yogyakarta, we highly recommend you visiting one of the many temples, such as the Prambanan Hindu temple. It’s a sacred place, and a huge temple that really will leave you in awe when you stand before it. The Taman Sari is also one of the most popular locations. It’s a historic bathing complex with the bluest of waters that people love to explore.
Japan
To go from such a small island such as Java, to talking about somewhere so big such as Japan is a huge leap. But if you’re looking for something a bit more manic and hustle and bustle, then Japan is the place for you. Tokyo is particular is a part we recommend you visit. It’s filled with different things to do, such as the Tokyo Sky tree which will offer you some of the best views that you’ll be able to find. Be warned though, it shoots right up into the air, and if you hate heights, then this really isn’t for you. If you like to keep your feet firmly planted on the ground, the Sesnso-Ji is the perfect option for you. It’s the historic temple of the Goddess of Mercy. There are so many ancient artifacts to explore within! If you want to see something cool, you should definitely take a trip to Hiroshima. You should hopefully know what happened there, but if you don’t, it was one of the two sites where the US military dropped a nuclear bomb, killing thousands of people within minutes.
