Giveaway – Win 6 Mavala Lipsticks Worth £78

*PR Samples.

Hey Beauty Lovers! Today I am giving away not 1 but 6 shades of Mavala Lipsticks, from the Sunlight Lipstick Collection. For those who have never heard of these lipsticks, they are so amazing. They come in 6 shades – Fantasy Rose, Terra Viva, Coral Orange, Scarlet Red, Cloud Beige and Terra Rossa.  I have all 6 shades myself and they are top quality lipsticks. My current favourite is Scarlet Red (because I like my lips bright and bold) ND Terra Rossa (for when I want a toned down look).

These Mavala Lipsticks not only leave your lips looking good, they also care for them underneath as well. The lipsticks prevent dryness. They soften and regenerate the lips, thanks to shea butter, aloe vera and vitamin E. Each lipstick currently goes for £13.

Quick Beauty Fixes For Busy Mums

*Collaborative post.

When you’re a busy Mum, you have so many things on your to-do list. Not only do you have to deal with all of your work-related tasks, but you also have to make sure that your kids are happy and healthy, and that you’re always there for them when they need you. Whilst you pretty much do all of this stuff in your sleep now, there are some things that you just don’t have time for, and an extensive beauty regime is one of them. However, there are some ways to keep yourself looking and feeling great (on a tight schedule) and we’ve noted them down here!

Drink more water

OK, this is probably the most time-efficient tip in the beauty book for Mums, but drinking more water is actually the key to keeping yourself looking fresh, and fabulous. All you really have to do is to make sure that you’ve always got a water bottle in your hand no matter where you’re heading, and you’ll naturally up your water intake by a hell of a lot. Water helps to keep your skin clear, and it will also get rid of that dull look that we all try to avoid so much. It’s good for your body, too, so there’s basically no reason to turn down a few extra glasses of water a day. Goodbye coffee and sugary drinks!

Focus on eyes or lips

Let’s face it, in the morning you have no time to sit there and go through all of the different makeup options that you have, thinking about how you’re going to spend a few hours perfecting those brows. For most Mums, the reality looks a lot different: trying to put on a bit of makeup in a 10 minute window period, all whilst running around after your kids whilst they’re also getting ready. It’s not an ideal makeup situation, but it can be solved by choosing either your eyes or your lips as a focal point, rather than both. Smoky eyes can be pulled off well without the need for much more makeup, and so can red lips.

Get your teeth straightened

Now, it’s easier than ever to get cosmetic dental work done quickly, without even having to have braces on the front of your teeth. This is a beauty tip that will serve you well for years to come, as you can let the invisible braces do the job for you, whilst you just come to love your smile that little bit more. You can also get your teeth whitened without having to splash too much cash, and it really will make a difference to how you feel in yourself, especially if you’re self-conscious about your smile. Bright & White offer great teeth straightening services, but check out the options in your local area too.

So, if you’re a busy Mum looking for some quick beauty fixes, then look no further! Drinking more water, focusing on either your eyes or your lips, and getting your teeth straightened or whitened, will really have you feeling on top form, without wasting any of your time!

*PR Samples.

Happy International Women’s Day to all my amazing women. Today is a day to celebrate women and everything feminine. So I decided to review some lovely makeup products I got the other day. RMK got in touch and offered to send me some makeup/beauty products to review and I was super excited to get my hands on them. I am a huge fan of Japanese products. There are definitely at the top in the beauty industry and RMK ticks all the boxes when it comes to quality makeup.

A bit about RMK

For those who have never heard of this brand before, RMK is a cosmetics line that holds firm roots within the New York make-up artistry scene and is carefully brought to life in dedicated laboratories in Japan. I was lucky enough to get RMK Basic Control Colour in Silver (01), and the Colour Crayon in Red (04) and Fig (06).

RMK Basic Control Colour in Silver

This Basic Control Colour by RMK enhances the skin’s natural beauty. It comes in 4 shades – Silver, Coral, Purple and Green. I got my hands on the Silver and it is meant to enhance the skin’s natural luminosity for a brighter complexion.

RMK Colour Crayon comes in 6 shades – Red, Pink , Fig, Rose, Coral and Beige. I got my hands on the Red and Fig shade. The Red shade is the classic look while the Fig shade is more of a dark red look.

The Red Shade

If you know me well enough, you would know how much I love a red hippie. The shade of red is so beautiful.
