Sam Rollinson Covers Harper’s Bazaar UK March 2017

Sam Rollinson covers Harper’s Bazaar UK March 2017 issue, and she looks loely. This issue was inspired by by the most beautiful of the new-season collections, the magazine’s 150th anniversary year, as well as the glories of Bazaar‘s extraordinary heritage.

I always love Harper’s Bazaar Magazine covers because they are always full of colour and very distinct. They usually stand out for the right reasons on the newsstands, and this cover is not different. I love the background of the cover. The photographer – Agata Pospieszynska, and stylist – Charlie Harrington, braved the elements to shoot Sam Rollinson on a Scottish clifftop at Dunnottar Castle, and Erik Madigan Heck, Leith Clark and Madison Stubbington faced the wind and waves of Botany Bay on the south coast of England, capturing the spirit of the place. I can see why they went through so much trouble to get the shots with this amazing background. It looks so beautiful.

I have never heard of Sam Rollinson until this Harper’s Bazaar cover, so I went digging. I found out that she is a 21-year-old British model, who has appeared in Burberry, DKNY, Balenciaga, NEXT and many other campaigns.

On how she found herself modelling:

“I’d just turned into a teenager and she decided I was allowed to enjoy shopping with her now.” A month later, they travelled down to London to visit the Select model agency. It was “a bit of a weird experience. I had absolutely no idea [about modelling].”

I like both covers but I prefer the subscribers cover above because Sam has a big smile on, and this cover looks a lot more fun than the regular cover.

What are your thoughts? Which cover do you prefer?

Robin Wright covers Harper’s Bazaar UK April 2016 issue and she looks lovely on it. If you are a fan of Netflix House of Cards series, then you will know all about Robin’s Character – Claire Underwood, the power hungry, first lady of the United States of America, and if you don’t watch House of Cards, I suggest you binge on it now, or no, binge on it after reading this post.

I admire Robin’s character in the series. She is so strong and fierce, it is captivating. I am a huge fan of the series, and I finished watching all 4 seasons, and looking forward to the 5th. One thing that captivates me about the show, apart from the intense story line, and how crazy the Underwoods are, is Claire’s amazing style. Her stylish dresses that fit like a glove, and her lovely hair cut makes me envy her. This woman is a show-stopper and she knows it.

I am loving the Ralph Lauren dress she has on the subscribers cover, and the pose is giving me life, and I see myself grabbing this issue most definitely. I can’t believe this woman will be 50 years old next month (April), she looks like a 30-year-old woman. Don’t you think?

I am also loving the main cover, I think Robin looks beautiful on this issue, the Max Mara top looks amazing, but I think I prefer the subscribers cover. The pose and the dress she has on there is everything.

What do you think of both covers? Which do you prefer?
