Charity of the Month – Olive Pathway

Gender-based violence (GBV) is an issue very close to my heart. I have witnessed the damaging effects of GBV. It is one of those things you have to experience to really understand how damaging it is. Many women suffer in silence and endure years upon years of abuse. These women suffer mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially. Many of the women experiencing GBV see no way out which is really disturbing.

This is why I am so passionate about GBV and why I support amazing charities tackling domestic violence. The charity of the month is Olive Pathway. If you follow my Facebook page and Twitter, you should know about this great charity already, since I am forever sharing their posts on my social media pages.

Olive Pathway is a charity tackling domestic abuse and gender-based violence within black and minority ethnic groups in Greater Manchester and beyond. The charity’s mission is to eradicate domestic violence and eliminate inequality.
