Fearne Cotton Covers Cosmopolitan Magazine UK April 2017

The lovely Fearne Cotton is the cover girl for Cosmopolitan Magazine UK, and she looks great!

I love everything about this cover. I read Fearne Cotton had on her regular everyday makeup for the photoshoot, and I love that. She kept it real and why won’t she? She is a natural beauty and she slayed the cover!

I am yet to pick up this issue. I have not had the time to read as much as I should, but I am hoping to make up for that this April. I am also hoping this issue is still available on the newsstands, it looks juicy!

I have read Fearne’s letter to her 18-month old daughter, and I think it is the sweetest thing I have read in a very long time.

Here are some excerpts from the letter –

“No set-up will ever be perfect because life is not supposed to be that way. Speak openly to your partner and always listen. Love them with every inch of your heart, but only if they shower you in the same. Find someone who makes your heart sing and illuminates all your best bits.”

“But you should never underestimate your own unique qualities. They won’t be boring to others if you show them off with confidence. Trying to be someone else is the most transparent illusion of all. Be proud to be you. Now in my thirties I am very happy in my own skin.”

I found her letter so true, it spoke to me. Trying to be someone else does not work (for me anyway), so I don’t even bother. I am proud to be me, and I try to keep it real 100%. Life is too short to be anyone else.

I admire Fearne Cotton’s career and journey in life, and I am happy to see her in a good place.

Ruby Rose Covers Cosmopolitan Magazine March 2017 Issue

Hey folks. I have another magazine cover for your viewing pleasure. The stunning Ruby Rose is the cover girl for Cosmopolitan Magazine March 2017, and she looks fierce on it. I love the cover. It is very nice to look at.

Ruby Rose Langenheim, better known as Ruby Rose, is an Australian model, DJ, recording artist, actress, television presenter, and former MTV VJ. She is famous for her role in the Netflix Original hit series – Orange is the New Black, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, and many more.

I love Ruby’s short hair. It suits her so much and it makes me want to wear my hair short. I first spotted Ruby Rose in Orange is the New Black. she appeared in the season 3 as Stella Carlin, an Australian inmate living through her very own episode of Locked Up Abroad.

Speaking of Orange is the New Black, I can’t wait for the new season this year. It is one of my favourite Netflix series.

Here are some excerpts from her interview with Cosmopolitan –

On being comfortable with her sexuality

“I’m very confident and in tune with my sexuality. I feel very blessed for that, because in different places around the world, people can’t be. I’m lucky I can explore. I have a very healthy sex life, and there’s something very empowering, strong, and feminist about being open and comfortable in that world.”

She looks very confident in her skin and I love that about her. Self confidence is so attractive.

I know nothing about Ruby Rose so I would read this issue if I bump into it. But I don’t see myself going out of my way to read it.  Apart from Ruby Rose’s interview, the other features on the cover don’t interest me at all.

What do you think of this Cosmopolitan cover? Are you a fan of Ruby Rose or Orange is the New Black?

I am a huge fan of Emma Willis. I love her hair, she is one of the few women I know that looks amazingly good rocking a short hair. She also has great style and carriage. I enjoy watching her hosting the Celebrity Big Brother show. She is one of the reasons why I watch the show.

I am yet to read this issue but I am definitely going to grab a copy once I spot one. Emma’s interview and other features sound very juicy.

I would love to know more about Emma. She is one of those women I admire and like but don’t much about. I see her as a very private person, so this issue is a good way to get to know a bit more about the biggest female presenter in the UK.

In her interview with Cosmopolitan, Willis opened up about her career – the initial struggles and her current presenting gigs, her relationship with her husband – Matt, and everything else in between.

On the secret to her 12 years relationship with Matt:

“We like each other,” says Emma. “We have a lot of fun and neither of us thinks of ourselves as grown-ups. We’re also both working class people who are like, ‘Sh*t, this is good, we’ve done alright.’ He keeps me young and I keep him sensible.”

Awww, love the sound of their relationship.

On landing the Big Brother presenting gig:

“I didn’t audition,” she says. “When my agent called to tell me I’d been offered it, I was like, ‘What? Are you sure they’ve got the right Emma? Did they mean Emma Forbes because I’ve never even met them?'”

I find this so inspiring. Hard work does pay off eventually.

What do you think of Emma Willis on the cover of Cosmo?
