The Pencil Skirt

This trend is back and ready to take off quickly this spring season. If you are into pencil skirts, you will see lots of options in various designs and colours now in stores. I love pencil skirts, so naturally, I am excited about this spring fashion trend. Pencil skirts are always super stylish and very easy to dress up or down. I plan to wear more of this trend this season.

Polka Dots

Another trend this spring is the Polka Dots, they are back with a bang as well, and I am thrilled! Polka dot pieces are so pretty; there is this delicate look and feel of the design, and I am a huge fan. I don’t have enough of it in my collection but that is going to change this spring.

Statement Jewellery

Big and bold statement jewellery is also back in trend and this is also exciting for me because I am falling back in love with it. When you think statement jewellery, think of choker necklaces, big bangles, and earrings. Statement jewellery is all about the more, the merrier, the bolder, the better!

Statement Functional Bags

Still on the bigger, the better trend, statement bags are back on trend. I like having bags in various sizes and designs for different events, and statement bags that stand out are always a pleasure to have on days when I have lots to ferry around with me. So, it is great to see statement functional bags are back with so many options to choose from that do not compromise on style.

Cherry Red

One of the main colours this season is cherry red and it is all over the high street and with luxury brands as well. I love how over-the-top and flashy this colour is and I am looking forward to styling it this season. Cherry red is always a beautiful sight for sore eyes! I can already picture pretty heels and blazers in this colour looking smashing.

Are you excited for spring fashion?

How to Look and Feel Stylish when Pregnant

*Collaborative post.

If you are pregnant then you may feel as though nothing fits you anymore. You may also feel as though you just don’t feel good in anything you need as well. If you want to do something to help yourself to feel more positive, then there are a few things that you can do to look and feel better, so you can make positive changes that go on to benefit you for a very long time.

The Key to Comfort

One classic combination that you can try would be for you to wear a crop top and a skirt. This is a very classic combination and it also lets you be comfortable. A wrap skirt comes in very handy here and you would be surprised at what a difference it can make to the way that you look and feel when pregnant. At the end of the day, when styling your outfits, it helps to take note that comfort is key. When you put it on at home, you may feel as though it is a little uncomfortable at first but as you sit with it and as you begin to wear it more often you will soon find that it becomes more natural for you.

Keep Footwear Simple

If you have swollen feet then you may find it is a good idea for you to keep your footwear nice and simple. If you want to keep yourself nice and comfortable then you need to try and make sure that you go for footwear that is flat and comfortable. You also need to make sure that you are not making things more difficult than they are. If you are concerned about what to pair with your footwear then you can also look into things like maternity pants online. When you do, you will have different options that you can pair with a lot of different shoes. If you do this then you will soon find that it is easier for you to get the result you want overall.

Anticipate

What fits you right now might not fit you very well in a month or two. If you want to do something about this then make sure that you anticipate things like this and buy things that are still going to work for both of you. If you can do this then you will be able to do what works for you while adding a nice casual finish to all of our outfits.

You might also want to try and get some pregnancy pieces on rotation as this is a good way for you to stop yourself from regretting any purchases that might not work for you as much as you thought they might have done.  Of course, while you’re at it, take note of how you can change your style and what makes you feel good. If you can do this then you will soon see how easy it is for you to continue to make good choices that work for you.

1. Declutter your wardrobe

This was one of the first things I did this year and it felt so good. I got rid of many pieces and accessories. Many of them I had fallen out of love with so it was easy to get rid of, and this process created space for me to fill with items I like. My style has evolved over the years, and it is still evolving. I struggle now with some styles and designs I used to like many years ago, and I now find myself drawn to pieces I wouldn’t have considered in the past. Decluttering your wardrobe is the first step when it comes to switching up your look.

2. Organise your wardrobe

This step is so important, there’s nothing like a well-organised wardrobe. I like being able to see all I have in my closet easily. It’s easy to forget items that are not visible. This is why, I like to keep my pieces and accessories organised, so it’s easy to find what to wear and so I don’t forget items I have. Organising by type also makes it easy to spot all I have quickly.

3. Use velvet hangers for small closets

If you have limited space, you can opt for hanging your clothes using velvet hangers as they are great for smaller wardrobes. Wooden hangers are better for hanging clothes if you have enough space, if not, velvet is the way to hang.

4. Create a capsule wardrobe

Focus on creating a capsule wardrobe instead of going for trendy items you might outgrow in a few months. A capsule wardrobe is a minimalistic way of staying stylish.

5. Skip the dryer

Skipping the dryer has always been my thing, and I think that’s why my clothes look good for longer. I always air-dry my clothes, and I highly recommend you try this tip if you currently use a dryer.
