Perfume Review – Acqua di Parma Gelsomino A Freddo Eau de Parfum

While holidaying in Rome last year, I discovered Acqua di Parma Gelsomino A Freddo Eau de Parfum—and it has quickly cemented its place as a staple in my collection.
As a self-professed perfume lover whose standards have only grown more discerning over the years, I look for very specific qualities in a signature scent. This fragrance meets every expectation. Master perfumer Daphne Bugey has created a beautiful study in contrasts: it introduces itself with zesty Italian lemon essence and pink pepper, which beautifully sets the stage for a heart of rare jasmine enfleurage and smoky black tea. The base grounds the entire composition with sophisticated notes of guaiac wood and earthy patchouli. Beyond its beautiful profile, the longevity is incredible, remaining vibrant on the skin from morning to night. My near-empty bottle is proof enough of just how often I reach for it.
