Become A Fashion Stylist

I finished a fashion styling course with London College of Style (LCS) last year (2013) and I totally enjoyed. It was an online based course but was extremely intensive. I had to submit very creative assignments and it definitely took me out of my comfort zone but I am glad I did it. It is now time to take the fashion styling world by force. I hope they are ready for me.

This article in Company inspired me to take the Fashion Styling course. It is an interview with the founder of LCS – Wendy Elsmore. Here is Wendy below and a sneak peek of the interview:

Wendy

“We started The London College of Style in 2010 as there was a lack of top quality education in the styling industry. Offering a blend of taught subjects plus direct access to industry professionals and job opportunities, the college was designed to give students a kick-start to new careers.”

“Since then, the college has quickly become a source of some impressive UK styling talent, with students having worked with the likes of Adidas, Vidal Sassoon, London Fashion Week, and Arcadia. It’s also recently gained accreditation by the British Accreditation Council, which sets the standards within the independent education sector.”

Fashion New Year Resolutions 2014

Happy new year my friends. Thank you for a fantastic 2013. I had a blast on the blogosphere and I am looking forward to another fabulous year. I always start the new year with resolutions and I aim to stick to them. My fashion new year resolutions are to have some fun.

I tend to take my life a little to seriously sometimes so this year I am going to relax and go with the flow in regards to my life as a fashion and beauty blogger. My posts may not be as regular as before because of my new responsibilities but I will aim to blog as often as I can.

Giving my blog a mini makeover as often as I can is also one of my fashion resolutions for this year. I have already given my blog a mini makeover already, changed the header and the blog theme to give it a fresh look, hope you all like it.

Finally, I aim to write-up more posts on my personal style. I stopped the personal style feature last year due to unforeseen circumstances but I am coming back with a bang this year so watch this space.

So there are my fashion resolutions for 2014. Do you have any fashion resolutions?

Stylish Travellers

I am inspired by these fashionable travellers. They look so good and it just inspires me to make an effort every time even when flying and who knows, we could get lucky and get an upgrade (wink wink). What do you think of these looks? Which is your favourite?

1. The Saturdays: These ladies inspire me, they always look so good.

2. Rihanna: I am loving this simple, casual look. Looks really comfortable and comfort is just what you need when travelling. Go Riri.

3. Nicole Scherzinger: Nicole always looks good and she definitely knows how to make an entrance.

4. Kelly Rowland: I adore that harem pant on her, and the dark look is the best way to work it if you want to arrive at your destination looking and feeling fresh.

5. Mollie King: I adore Mollie’s feminine look. She looks chic and beautiful as always.

6. Frankie Sandford: The pink pants pop right out, cool look.

7. Kim Kardashian: I like Kim’s look here. A comfy knit is an aeroplane must. Comfort and style can go hand-in-hand.
