5 Countries to Explore in Europe

*Collaborative post.

I have travelled quite a bit over the years, and Europe is one continent I have explored. There are still many countries I would love to visit and revisit at some point in the future, and European countries are high on my travel list. Europe is a beautiful continent to explore and there are many lovely countries to visit. Here are some of the 5 countries I have visited in Europe, there are also my top 5 countries to explore in Europe –

Italy

I visited Milan five years ago for my and I loved it. It is such an amazing city full of lovely places to explore. We had a fantastic time. The Sheraton Hotel we stayed in was spectacular and the food was really good too!

I found the shops very exciting which is not surprising since Milan is the city of fashion. Visiting Milan again would be a dream come true. I would also love to explore other parts of Italy like Rome and Vernice.

Ireland

I visited Dublin, Ireland many years ago. It was my first time in the lovely country; we came in for a wedding so it was a quick weekend visit. I had a great time in the city. The food was good and the hotel was fab too! If you are considering planning a vacation to Ireland, my advice would be for you to go for it. There’s a lot to see and I know I will be visiting Dublin again in the future.

France

Now Paris is one city I have visited many times. It is a great place to explore in Europe. On one of our trips, we were lucky enough to visit Disneyland Paris and it was epic. Although the theme park was really busy, we had an amazing time and I would love to explore the park again. Paris is definitely worth visiting and I know I will be exploring other France at some point as well.

Germany

We visited Dusseldorf many years ago. It was our first visit to Germany and we had a fantastic time. There was a lot to see and explore. The city was clean, peaceful, and not too busy, which was great for us as we were travelling with our twins who were still babies then. I would love to explore other parts of Germany in the near future and Berlin is at the top of my list.

Amsterdam

We enjoyed our short weekend exploring Amsterdam many years ago. Our trip was short but very sweet. We had the opportunity to see some fab spots. I remember us getting on a boat ride with the kids and it allowed explore the city really well. I would love to visit again and stay a little longer this time.

What do you think of these travel locations? Have you visited any? Which city/country would you like to explore next? Please share your thoughts in the comments section below, let’s chat.

Your wedding day may be something that you have been thinking about your entire life. With every relationship and celebrity crush, you may have thought what your outfit would look like, where it would take place, and who would be in it. Groomsmen and bridesmaids all changed with the ebb and flow of your friend group, and you may or may not have picked out names for your children. In the end, you have found the one, and you are going to be planning your wedding for real. There are so many places to choose from, but there are certain locations that just scream romance and beauty. One of those places is Lake Como, Italy, and if you are in the business of having your wedding be a destination wedding, here are a few ways you can make your Italian wedding dream come true.

Don’t Expect a Huge Turnout

First and foremost is to know that you are not going to have a wedding so large that you will make the front page of the newspaper. With most destination weddings, the turnout will be smaller because not everyone will be able to make it due to finances, work, and responsibilities. Once you understand that, you can start to plan. Create a save-the-date so that you can alert everyone to your plan, and then people can start to figure out if they can make it or not. The save-the-date should go out one year before you are planning to get married. That is ample time to know who is going to make it and who is not going to make it, then you can send invitations to those who are seriously considering coming. That will save you money that you can use towards other expenses.

Pick the Correct Season

A lot of times, Lake Como is chosen because that specific place offers something during the year that you want as a backdrop to your party. A specific time of year can affect what food is in season so you can have the food menu you have always wanted. The season, of course, affects the weather, so you may want to choose a time where the weather will be what you are looking for, and the season also affects what festivals or events are happening when you choose to book your wedding. Make sure you pick the time of year that will do the most for making your vision come to fruition and also will be the best time for your family and friends to travel.

Choose a Photographer That Is Local

Not only is it cheaper to find a local photographer (mainly because you won’t have to pay for them to travel), but a local photographer also knows the best places to shoot your photos. If you are getting married in Lake Como, Vittore Buzzi wedding photographer is one of the best for knowing how to shoot Lake Como and at what time of day is the best for light. If you know one year in advance that you are going to be married at this location, then you will want to book your photographer then. Life changes fast, so if something comes up and you have to find another photographer, you will have time to find a backup in case you need one.

Visit Your Destination First

Yes, Lake Como is gorgeous all year long, but it is worth it for you to travel there first to make sure it is exactly what you want. You may want to get married there because so many people talk about how great it is, but if you go there and see it for yourself, you will get a better understanding of what your wedding will look like and how you can make it work. A trip there also allows you to check out the local accommodations so that you are not sending your guests into a bad situation. Your first hand experience will answer a lot of the questions you may have and will help you plan everything flawlessly.

Help Your Guests Turn This Into a Vacation

Since your guests will be traveling to attend your wedding, help them make a vacation out of it. Some of your family and friends may be using saved up vacation time to attend your nuptials, so let them use their time effectively. While at Lake Como, there are several things for your guests to do. If you are staying in the city of Como itself, there are great restaurants to see as well as some of the greatest sunsets in the world. In other towns around the lake there are museums of great art that have been found from excavations of the area. There are also small villages to walk through of narrow alleyways and stairs. Inform your guests that they may want to look into renting a car so that they can freely travel from town to town taking in the culture and the food. They will have to fly into Milan, so renting a car will give them the freedom to explore as they see fit.

Have Fun

Weddings can be stressful, but take a moment to soak it all in and have fun. Remember, you are going to be in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Take your time and enjoy one of the most poignant days of your life. One of the reasons to have a destination wedding is to take a lot of the stress off of having to do a lot for a lot of people. Instead, you get to bring the closest people in your life to a magical place. Take in the history, take in the art, and take in the grand splendor of the lake and the surrounding towns that are so charming and will give you memories that will last a lifetime. If you need to hire an Italian wedding planner to make it more enjoyable, then go ahead and do it.

Tips For Making Your Luggage Carrying A Little Easier

When it comes to getting up and heading off to a new land – albeit for only a week or two – there are a bunch of things that come into play. You need to have every formality handled, you need to be mentally prepared, and you need to make sure everything is packed. There are many other factors that come into play, but those three are pretty significant for holidaymakers and travellers alike.

The point about packing is and will always be one of the most important issues for someone travelling to another part of the world. It can be quite a tedious affair, and you can be left annoyed if you don’t get everything right. Packing and making sure you’ve taken what you need is one thing, but the process of hauling it all around for miles and miles isn’t something everyone enjoys either. It’s all worth it when you reach the destination, but shifting the luggage around isn’t fun, right?

Fortunately, it doesn’t have to be as grueling as perhaps you might think. There are a few little tricks you can do to lower the strain on this particular workout. Here are a few ideas for you:

Plan Your Routes Out Beforehand

If you know where you’re going, then you don’t have to worry about going the long way round when it comes to finding wherever it is you’re staying (or heading to next). Knowing a few shortcuts or being able to get to where you want to without hesitating is always going to be a bonus. Also, look at public transport routes as they’ll do you a huge favor – anything that means less carrying for you would be delightful.

Don’t Pack Impulsively

The more you have in your small or large cases will determine how difficult the journey will be, of course. If you have lots of essentials, then, by all means, pack them. If you’re feeling a little generous and want a few more luxury items on board, perhaps you should rethink and double-check what you’re doing. Sometimes a few things can stay at home!

Look For Something That’s Nice On The Hands

When it comes to actually bringing in a suitcase to carry your items in, perhaps you should look at the ergonomic value of it. Something that costs very little or something that looks nice might work for you, but the novelty might wear off quickly when you realize that it’s not helping your poor fingers or spine.

Find A Place To Store!

You don’t have to carry your luggage absolutely everywhere you go. Fortunately, there are places in big towns and cities alike that will take your stuff and store it for a reasonable fee. Places like stasher have properties scattered all over the place, and that will absolutely help you if ever you feel you need a rest!

Build Up A Little Strength!

We’ll end on this small point. It’s something that will be able to help you with these particular issues, but it’s also something that can serve you well going forward, too. If you make yourself a little stronger than you are now, then you’re going to handle this kind of physical challenge a little easier. You’ll be mentally prepared for it a little better, too!
