Destination 1: The Algarve, Portugal

We visited the Algarve a few years ago, and it was a truly magical holiday filled with stunning coastlines, golden cliffs, and picturesque towns to explore. If you want a perfect mix of relaxing beach days and historic cobblestone walks, the Algarve should be right at the top of your summer travel bucket list.

It is definitely one of those spots I would love to visit all over again! During our trip, we did a massive amount of sightseeing, which meant miles of walking every day. Thankfully, we had packed the right footwear with brilliant insoles for proper arch support, keeping us completely comfortable the whole time. The absolute last thing you want is to deal with uncomfortable, painful feet while on holiday, as it will completely ruin your mood and limit your exploring. There is nothing worse than having to skip a gorgeous hidden viewpoint or cut a city tour short just because your shoes are giving you blisters.

To save your feet, make sure you pack the right kind of supportive shoes or lightweight walking boots before you head out. Your footwear needs to match your itinerary, so if you are planning to walk along cobblestones, hike up nature trails, or wander through markets for hours, prioritize arch support and cushioned insoles so you can explore completely pain-free!

Destination 1: Paris, France
Paris is an absolute classic for a summer getaway, and it never fails to feel incredibly romantic. We have visited the beautiful city a couple of times and I am always looking forward to the next visit. Whether you are strolling along the Seine, sipping iced lattes at a pavement café, or exploring the world-class museums, the city has an energy that is hard to match.
Just like the Algarve, Paris is a destination where you will easily rack up thousands of steps a day, so those supportive shoes will definitely come in handy for wandering through Montmartre or the Louvre. If you are planning a trip this season, consider booking a casual evening boat cruise to watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle against the summer night sky—it is a magical experience you won’t want to miss.
Destination 3: Milan, Italy
If your perfect holiday involves world-class fashion, incredible food, and stunning architecture, Milan is the place to be. As Italy’s style capital, it is the ultimate destination for anyone looking to blend a chic city break with rich cultural history.
Spend your mornings marveling at the breathtaking Duomo di Milano, your afternoons shopping the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and your evenings sipping Aperol Spritzes by the Navigli canals. Milan is highly walkable, so your supportive, stylish footwear will serve you well as you explore the historic Brera district.
An inside travel tip for 2026: If you want to escape the city heat for a day, Milan is the perfect gateway for a quick, scenic train ride north to the cooler, breathtaking shores of Lake Como.
