Karl Lagerfeld; the creative director for the famous fashion house – Chanel collaborates with footwear brand Melissa on a new collection. Melissa produces shoes made up of 100 per cent recyclable plastic.

Karl Lagerfeld has signed up to create capsule collections for the label over the next four seasons. The first range will be out in March 2013.

Paulo Pedo, the CEO of Melissa, referred to the Lagerfeld partnership as “one of the most exciting collaborations the company has ever seen”.
