Style Icon – Cindy Bruna

The beautiful and stylish Cindy Bruna is the Style Icon for the month on Fashion and Style Police. I came across the young lady some years ago and I was so blown away by her fashion sense and how much she has achieved in the modelling world at such a young age. Cindy Bruna is originally from the South of France but relocated to Paris some years to pursue a career in modelling. You can easily catch her on the runaway modelling for Victoria’s Secret (one of my favourite lingerie brands). She has also appeared in campaigns for Prada, Burberry, Chanel, Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren. This young woman is the real deal.

I love how stylish Cindy Bruna is off the runaway. She knows what suits her body shape and her hair and makeup is always on point too! I am here for it!

Style Icon – Cindy Bruna

Bruna’s modelling future looks very bright. She has an amazing body, which ticks all the modelling boxes. Her legs are unbelievable. I like spotting new fresh faces on runaways and campaigns. It is always good to add some freshness to the fashion industry in general. I bet Cindy Bruna will be doing her modelling thing for many years to come. She has what it takes to take her modelling career to dizzy heights and she always looks good whenever she is photographed. I love her sense of fashion a lot. She is definitely a force to be reckoned with in the fashion industry today.

Mica Argañaraz Covers British Vogue Magazine August 2017

Mica Argañaraz is the cover girl for British Vogue Magazine August 2017. She is a rising star, which explains why I have never heard of her. The cover was photographed by Craig McDean – and styled by Vogue‘s senior contributing fashion editor, Kate Phelan.

This is Mica Argañaraz’s first British Vogue cover, and I like it! It is simple but yet has the Vogue factor; which is quality and elegance. This magazine cover ticks all the right boxes.

I did a bit of research on the cover girl, and discovered she is Argentinian model, one of the hottest models around today. She has modelled for Christopher Kane, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Chanel, Christian Dior, Prada and even Mango.

I can why Mica Argañaraz is so popular at the moment. Her distinct look, with the shaggy fringe and strong jawline have made her stand out for the right reasons. She is definitely one model to watch.

Here are some excerpts from Mica Argañaraz’s interview with British Vogue –

Mica Argañaraz on her Modelling Career

“I really take it as a job,” she told us. “It makes me feel proud how far I got, I tried to be honest and true to myself.”

“I’ve had a lot of experiences and I think they’ve made me grow up,” she added. “Also, this job has given me a lot, which allows me to give back and to help people. It feels good when you can turn it into a cycle.”

Good she loves her job. Doing a job you love is one of the best things you could do for yourself.

Mica Argañaraz on Breaking into Modelling

“You make your own career as you build your own reality,” she told us. “Personally I’m not competitive, and I get along with a lot of my colleagues. I do get happy when my friends and people I like are doing well, and I feel it happens the same the other way around. It can be a lonely lifestyle otherwise when you travel so much.”

I like to see others around me doing well too! I can’t understand envy.

I am yet to read this issue but will looking out for it. Have you read it? What do you think of the cover girl?

Destinations to Visit this Summer & What to Wear

After what feels like years of waiting, we are finally approaching the brink of summer. Soon, it will be the season where we can wear dresses, shorts, sandals and all of our other summer pieces without fear of catching a cold or getting rained on. If you also live in the UK, you are sure to understand what a big deal that is!

As if that wasn’t reason enough to love summer, this is also the best time of year for exploration and travel. For those of you who are yet to decide on a summer holiday destination yet, here are two completely different options that are likely to peak your interest as well as what to wear while you’re there.

Paris

What To Do:

Whether you’re travelling alone, with friends or with your significant other, Paris is always a good idea. After all, who would want to miss out on the chance to sip coffee and munch on croissants while basking in the glory of the Notre Dame, the Eifel Tower or the Louvre? Plus, for the shoppers out there The City of Love is also home to a variety of stores including intimate boutiques as well as some of the top designer retailers in the world such as Chanel, Sessun and Cancan.

What To Wear:

Parisian style is based entirely on the idea of remaining chic yet tailored; stylish but with a decidedly conservative edge. Usually, French socialites tend to adhere to the “no more than three colours” rule and opt for neutral tones over bright, flashy hues. Fortunately, it is easier to recreate this style than you might think. All you need is some well-fitting ankle length jeans, some tidy pumps and a shirt with a feminine edge to emulate Parisian elegance like a pro.

Las Vegas

What To Do:

For those of you who fancy going further afield this summer, how could Las Vegas possibly be ignored? In fact, if you have a bit of a wild side there are few places that will suit you better that this not so humble Nevada desert town. Las Vegas is home to The Strip after all: 4.2 miles packed full of hotel resorts, entertainment venues and restaurants. There, you’ll find some of the most famous casinos and games in the world including roulette, poker and slots such as those in the NetEnt Rocks Trilogy. Those of you who have been tempted to try it yourself in the past by playing at tech-savvy online casinos such as Vegas Casino – who offers a variety of Vegas-style games including a live casino – are sure to understand exactly why Las Vegas is a great place to visit.

What To Wear:

As you may imagine, styling Las Vegas is a bit trickier than Paris as there are no rules about fashion but many about attire. That is, you can wear whatever you please but there will be some venues that refuse entry if you’re looking a little too casual. Still, all you have to do is bear that in mind while packing and you should be fine: just opt for a casual-formal attire. A nice dress or some tailored trousers with a smart top are sure to do the trick.

There you have it: two very different travel option for you to mull over this summer. Where are you planning to head this summer or are you yet to make a decision? Let us know in the comments below.
