Perfume Review – Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum

Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum is a perfume I have had the pleasure of using for some months now. It is my first Roberto Cavalli fragrance and it is one of those fragrances that is just easy to wear. This oriental floral perfume was launched in 2012 by Louise Turner and it is quite popular with perfume lovers. If you like your fragrances intense, aromatic and spicy, you may love Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum.

Product Description

The Roberto Cavalli perfume belongs to the ambery floral family. An exuberant fragrance which exudes a genuine strength of character, it exhilarates and mesmerises from the very first contact… essentially addictive.

PROS
  1. This warm fragrance has good longevity. You may need a few more sprays than your average perfume to have it smelling for longer.
  2. The bottle is so pretty. I love the design.
  3. This fragrance is budget friendly and usually on sale, so shop around. At the time of writing, it was on sale for £24.99.
  4. It is great for the cooler months, so I am making the most of it now with the colder weather.

CONS
  1. The fragrance is quite spicy and not my favourite type of scent.
  2. I love my perfumes lasting a bit more, with great projection as well, and this doesn’t quite the spot.

Overall, this perfume by Roberto Cavalli is a great option if you like your fragrances more oriental and warm, with a touch of spicy. This perfume reminds me of black pepper for some reason. It is a great everyday scent, especially for the autumn/winter months.

Perfume Review – Christian Dior J’adore L’OR Essence de Parfum

Hey perfume lovers! Another perfume review for your reading pleasure. I know it can be tricky sometimes when it comes to shopping for fragrances. Sometimes, trying them in the stores doesn’t just to cut it. So perfume reviews do come in handy, which is one of the reasons why I enjoy writing them. Today’s perfume review is all about the amazing Christian Dior J’adore L’OR Essence de Parfum.

I have been using this lovely scent by Christian Dior for many months, and I like it! It has a lovely, intense floral scent and it is really good. I have always been a huge fan of Christian Dior perfumes, especially the J’adore range. I think Dior perfumes smell amazing and are ever so long-lasting, and this lovely bottle right here did not disappoint. It is such a sweet feminine scent.

Christian Dior J’adore L’OR Essence de Parfum Description

  • I love the intense floral scent. It smells divine.
  • This fragrance is so long-lasting. It stayed on all day and I didn’t have to respray.
  • The bottle is so pretty. It looks amazing in my perfume collection.
  • I love the fact that the fragrance is not overpowering. It’s a great daytime fragrance and it works great especially in the spring and summer months.
CONS
  • None. I adore Christian Dior J’adore L’OR Essence de Parfum.

Overall, I rate this fragrance 8/10. It is definitely a fragrance I have enjoyed and I am still enjoying. If you are after a new scent to test out, I highly recommend Christian Dior perfume  and I am yet to meet anyone online or offline who doesn’t love this fragrance.

Perfume Review: Chanel No. 5 Eau de Parfum

Chanel perfumes are the epitome of luxurious fragrances. This brand is where you go if you are on the hunt for powerful feminine perfumes. Chanel No. 5 Eau de Parfum is one of my current favourites. It is just one of those fragrances you either love or hate. There are no in-betweens regarding Chanel No. 5, and I am so in love with it! I have been using it for some months now and I am intrigued by the amazing fragrance.

Perfume Description

N°5, the very essence of femininity. An aldehyde floral bouquet housed in an iconic bottle with a minimalist design. A timeless, legendary fragrance. The eau de parfum draws inspiration from the parfum with which it shares its floral aldehyde signature. This floral bouquet composed around May Rose and Jasmine features bright citrus top notes. Aldehydes create a unique presence, and the smooth touch of Vanilla an incredibly sensual trail.

PROS
  • I love the floral scent a lot! It smells amazing.
  • The fragrance is long-lasting. It stays on all day.
  • I love the packaging. The bottle is chic and pretty.
  • A little goes a long way with Chanel No.5. It is quite a powerful fragrance, so no over spraying required.
  • It is a lovely scent for the autumn/winter season, but it also works for spring/summer months.
CONS

None. There’s nothing I don’t like when it comes to this perfume. I love Chanel No.5 so much and overall, I highly recommend this perfume. It is 10/10 and I can see myself using it over and over again. It is definitely one of my favourite Chanel perfumes.
