Product Review: Sukin Natural Skincare

I have been trying the Sukin Natural Skincare Range for some weeks now and I really like the products. They are natural and Vegan (which is really important to me) skincare products. I got a facial scrub and a foaming facial cleanser from the brand. Both products are really good. I use the cleanser every night and the facial scrub once a week.

Sukin Foaming Facial Cleanser 125ml

This facial cleanser is a non-drying, gentle gel cleanser that purifies the skin, without stripping it of its natural oils. It is a natural blend of Rosehip Oil, Chamomile, Aloe Vera, Green Tea, Witch Hazel, and Evening Primrose.

Sukin Revitalising Facial Scrub 125ml

Sukin Skincare review image

This Revitalising Facial Scrub is a cream-based exfoliator. It uses gentle granules of biodegradable Bamboo Extract and Walnut Shell Powder to lightly exfoliate the skin, removing unwanted dirt and impurities. Some of the natural ingredients included are Chamomile, Rosehip Oil, Sesame Oil, and Aloe Vera.

Pros for both products
  • Both products contain only natural products.
  • I love the simple and practical packaging.
  • Sukin is a cruelty-free brand.
  • Both products contain no mineral oils, parabens, silicones, petrolatum, artificial colours, or harsh detergents.
  • I love the natural fragrances of the products.
  • They feel great on my skin. The facial scrub is cream-based and it feels amazing on my skin.
  • A little goes a long way with both products. For the cleanser, a pump is more than enough to cleanse the entire face.
  • They are great for all skin types including sensitive skin.
  • Both products leave my skin soft, clean, and smooth.

Like I mentioned in my previous beauty post, I have gone vegetarian and I am now researching natural beauty products to include in my skincare routine. There are so many great natural skincare products out there and it has been a very interesting experience trying them out. I have a few favourites already and I looking forward to adding more to my list of favorite natural skincare products to use. If you know me in real life, you would know how much I enjoy talking about my new found love – vegan skincare products. I also enjoy writing blog posts on them. CBD skincare products are now my latest skincare obsessions. The products have some amazing skin benefits. It is impossible to resist!

What is CBD?

For those who are wondering what CBD stands for, it stands for Cannabidiol, and it is a naturally-occurring chemical compound found in cannabis plants. CBD is usually extracted as a powder and then mixed with a carrier oil like grapeseed, olive, or coconut. CBD oil is well known for its healing properties. The oil has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits which are great for treating skin issues like inflammation, acne, eczema, psoriasis, dryness, and more. CBD for skincare products is a great idea. The benefits are numerous and there are now many options available.

Here are a few of the best CBD oils in the beauty market –

Revolution Skincare CBD Oil 30ml

This product is a Body Butter, so do not use on your face. It is a great product to use especially in the cold winter months. I can see myself using Sanctuary Spa Body Butter for many years to come.
