Product Review – Revlon Colorburst Strawberry Fraise Lipgloss

I got this Revlon Colorburst Strawberry Fraise lipgloss from my local Boots some weeks ago and I have used quite a bit of it already. So I can review it properly now.

Revlon

Here are some of its pros and cons:

PROS

  • This lipgloss is quite cheap, got it for £6.99 at my Boots store.
  • It is long-lasting, can stay on for a bit.
  • I got Boots Advantage Card points for this purchase because I bought it in a Boots store.
  • Beautiful packaging, classy and sturdy.

CONS

  • It is an intense colour lip gloss, too intense for me. It looks like a lipstick in a lipgloss form. I like my lipglosses light and mild.
  • The texture of this Revlon Strawberry Fraise lipgloss is too thick and too sticky.

Revlon 1

I recommend this lipgloss to ladies who like thick, intense colour lipglosses. I won’t be purchasing this particular lipgloss again, just not my style.

Have you tried any of the Revlon Colorburst lipglosses? Let me know in the comment section. Thanks for reading.

My Current Favourite Beauty Products

I have never really been a beauty junkie, I am not one of those ladies with ten different shades of lipstick. I am still learning how best to apply my makeup but these products have made me fall in love. I am currently obsessed with these beauty products. I use them almost everyday and I am quite happy with the finish look.

Making Up Your Cheeks

A hint of colour on your cheeks gives your face a healthy, natural look. This is where the blush and bronzers come in. There are different types in the market today but it is best to go for the one in the same texture as your foundation.

Powder Blush

Powder blush is usually long-lasting, it also works well on all skin types. Always apply the powder blush with a blush brush. Natural tones are best but go for bright blush if you have a dark skin. I recommend this Chanel Joues Contraste blush.

Cream Blush

Cream blush is great for those with a dry skin, it is also quite quick and easy to apply. The best part of the cream blush is that you can use it without wearing a foundation, just apply a primer or moisturizer first. I recommend this Revlon cream brush.

Bronzer

Bronzers look fantastic on darker skin tones. You can apply a bronzer with a powder blush. I recommend this Clinique bronzer.

Iridescent Highlighter

Iridescent highlighters should be used with blushes or bronzers to balance the effect. They usually draw attention to the eye. They can be in form of powder, cream or liquid. I recommend this MAC Iridescent Highlighter.
