Skincare tips from the world’s best facialists

Our skin is delicate and so it should be handled with care. The older we become, the more important it is for us to pay extra attention to our skincare routine and the products we use on a daily basis. Depending on many factors, it can be super easy to get our skin to glow and it can also be easy to let ourselves go and allow our skin to lose its shine. Taking good care of the skin is the goal for many which is why I love reading and writing about beauty and skincare tips.

Skincare tips from the world’s best facialists

If you are struggling to think of new ways to take care of your skin, here are some amazing skincare tips from the world’s best facialists:

Ada Ooi on facial massaging techniques

“One of the best skincare hacks that you can do easily from home is to use facial massaging technique to stimulate acupressure points for tension release and drain the lymphatic system to give a firmer, brighter complexion,” says Ada. “Start with your favourite serum to nourish and give slip, then using a Gua Sha tool gently massage the face, following the lymphatic system to reduce swelling and tighten your skin to give a more youthful appearance,”

I have heard a lot about this skincare hack and this is one I am definitely going to try soon. The technique sounds very relaxing and I bet it works great too! The Gua Sha tool is now on my beauty wishlist; it sounds fantastic. Have you used it?

Joanna Czech on a night-time skincare routine

Don’t skip your night time routine,” says Joanna. “Products are up to 60% more effective when our bodies are at rest, so take the time to cleanse your face and body thoroughly and apply your products before bed.”

I agree with Joanna completely. Night time is the best time to take care of your skin. I recently got a new facial moisturiser and I use it only at night time just so my skin can soak up all the goodies. It is such a lovely night time moisturiser and I will be reviewing it here on the blog soon.
