Giveaway – TRESemme Defined Curls Curling Tong

Today I am giving away this TRESemme Defined Curls Curling Tong. I am a huge fan of TRESemme products. They are always great quality and they tend to last for ages. This comes as no surprise as the brand has been around since 1948, so they are definitely one of the leaders in the hair care industry. This TRESemme Defined Curls Curling Tong is a fab styling hair tool. It creates stunning tight long lasting curls effortlessly. It comes with an additional brush attachment which allows it to be used as a hot brush as well as a curling tong.

I have a similar curling tong and I use it a lot on my wigs. It is great to have these haircare tools at home because they allow you create amazing looking hair from the comfort of your home. This curling tong stands out because it does not exceed 185°and the slim barrel allows you create tighter curls than most tongs. I love the fact that this haircare tool is like a 2 in 1 product – tong and hot brush. It is great when products are like that. You can get a lot more out of them that way.

  1. Conditioning ! So important to stop breakage and over drying your hair – these are BRILL

  2. Back comb your hair from the nape of your head. Then brush through with a wide tooth gently. Gently hairspray through to give firmness as you section and curl. Then section with clips before taking sections and curling

  3. Don’t curl freshly washed hair and always use lots of spray to keep them in. Also run fingers through hair at end to get more natural curled look.

  4. If you have fine hair like myself, my hairdresser taught me never to leave the curling iron in too long as it simply burns off the fine hair, but instead, quick moves with LOTS of hairspray!!!!!

  5. If you spray hair spray lightly to the hair before you curl it will define your curls more & always leave to cool before you comb or brush out. @MevansNan23

  6. For beach waves, curl a few sections of your hair, leave some uncurled, point the hair curler downwards and leave an inch or so each end

  7. Use hairspray to hold the curls for longer & if its a party, sprinkle some hair glitter over those curls! @Sophy_Dan

  8. I follow the Lorraine Massey Curly Girl routine, which involves 1) no towel drying – I simply tie my hair up in a t-shirt to get rid of excess moisture after washing. 2) I don’t wash my hair with shampoo – only conditioner and they can’t contain ANY sulphates or sillicones. Has transformed my curly hair since I’ve been using it. @Bubblyboobumbob

  9. I curl ringlets with my fingers on almost dry hair before tucking them around a material headband. Give it an hour and you’ll have soft waves without the heat. @theonlyalisonl
