I went full vegetarian last year and the vegetarian journey has been an amazing experience. It was not something I planned. It kind of just happened but I am glad it did. Being vegetarian has changed my life completely for the better. I am now very conscious of what I do eat and I try to eat clean as much as possible everyday. The funniest part is I don’t miss eating meat or chicken at all. I was never a fish eater right from when I was a little girl, so no issues with that. However, unlike many vegetarians I know, going vegan is not on my radar. I love my free range eggs in moderation, so I don’t ever see myself completely going off that. The vegetarian journey has been effortless for me and I am looking forward to exploring more vegetarian dishes.
Speaking of vegetarian dishes, are you vegan, vegetarian or interested in plant-based dining options? If the answer to any of these questions is yes then you are reading the right post. As the lockdown restrictions ease off, you may be considering getting out and about. If you are after cool dining recommendations for vegan/vegetarian restaurants or plant-based restaurants, here is one amazing Italian restaurant you should check out if you are in the City of London.
Sicily by Da Scalzo
This restaurant is great dining option for those who love Italian food. The Vegan/Vegetarian menu is full of yummy delicacies. I spent ages salivating at the thought of eating many of the dishes, especially the Spaghetti Vegani roasted pepper and tomato sauce topped with toasted pumpkin seeds. It sounds divine!
This buzzing restaurant provides all day dining. It is in the City of London and there is outside seating available, so plenty of space at Sicily by Da Scalzo. If you like the sound of this restaurant, you should check out SquareMeal website. It is a fantastic website for a variety of party venues, meeting venues, eateries, and wedding venues. As the lockdown restrictions ease, now is a great time to treat yourself or your loved ones to SquareMeal gift vouchers. There are over 7,000 restaurants and bars in London and the UK on SquareMeal Website. So there should be a dining option to keep you salivating. Booking on SquareMeal is a great idea because prior to booking, you can get all the information you need about the restaurants you are interested. The booking process is also very easy. Customers can make reservations online, over the phone, and via email. Also, anyone who books on SquareMeal website can automatically collect points (100 points per restaurant and 400 for a venue), which can be exchanged for luxury gifts from high-end brands.
I think this service is amazing especially for the foodies. Vegetarian restaurants are on my radar and I will be exploring a few this year. What do you think of Sicily by Da Scalzo? Have you dined there before? Will you be using the SquareMeal website? Are you vegan/vegetarian? How has the journey been for you?
No I’m not vegetarian or vegan. I could go vegetarian as there are plenty of options still . I don’t eat as much meat as I used too which is no bad thing.
I do love fish though and I think that would be the hardest for me to give up. Meat yes I could give up.
Vegan diet for me I don’t get! On a logical basis yes I do however I just don’t see the point in it emotionally as its not harming or killing. Each to their own though
Good points covered
Yes there are loads of vegetarian options if you ever decide to go down that route. Thanks Carol xx
