Glamour Magazine UK July 2017 Covers

This month, there is not 1 but 4 Glamour Magazine UK covers. The stunning Australian 49 year-old (almost 50) actress – Nicole Kidman covers the first cover of Glamour July 2017 and I like it! She looks great. The cover screams to me! I like the background and the whole styling of it. I think Glamour did a great job with this July cover.

Nicole Kidman looks amazing. Her hair looks good, her outfit looks pretty and her makeup is spot on. I can’t fault this cover at all. I would love to read this issue. It looks like it would be a good read. I am a fan of Nicole, I been following her career for years now, so I am naturally drawn to this cover.

Amy Poehler is on second cover and she looks amazing as well. I love the playful pose. This cover would definitely catch my eye on the newsstands.

The American actress and comedian was photographed by Matthias Vriens-McGrath, and styled by Lucy Walker. I am loving this look she is rocking a lot. Poehler slayed this cover.

The Canadian model fashion model, spokesperson, and activist – Winnie Harlow is on the cover of the third Glamour Magazine UK July issue. She is wearing an off white look for the magazine cover, photographed by Tiago Banderaa, and styled by Natalie Hartley.

I have never heard of Winnie Harlow until this cover. I would love to find out more about her.

The British actor, comedian, and television host – James Corden, is on the cover of the last Glamour magazine cover for July 2017. He is wearing pieces from Dior and Dior Homme. The cover was photographed by Matthias Vriens-McGrath, and styled by Lucy Walker.

Caroline Flack Covers Cosmopolitan Magazine July 2017

I found this post very difficult to type and publish. Torn between going on with my usual magazine features, and including Cosmopolitan as usual, or skip Cosmopolitan after last week blogger interview saga with Sarah Ashcroft. I decided to go ahead with my British magazines features and include Cosmopolitan magazine as usual. I enjoy featuring magazine features, and I also enjoy reading them. I will carry on as normal, but will stop once I no longer enjoy it. I have decided not to be dragged into any drama that isn’t mine.

Caroline Flack Image

Caroline Flack is the latest cover girl for Cosmo. I am not a fan of this cover at all. I am not feeling the background and outfit she has on. I think the white top looks a bit off. I am not so familiar with Caroline Flack either so I am not in a hurry to read this issue. If I bump into it, I would read it but I won’t go looking for it.

Some of the features on the cover do sound interesting. I would like to read about the new rules of summer style, and I would also like to read Caroline Flack’s interview. I hear she is the host of the TV show – Love Island, and she has been accused of flirting with contestant Alex Bowen, in the last season. I would like to read more about that. Here is what Flack had to say about the controversy –

“I didn’t fancy anyone from the show last year and I don’t this year. You shouldn’t mix business with pleasure, unless, of course, you fall in love – you can’t help that, but I don’t think that’s going to happen.

Alexa Chung Covers British Vogue June 2017

The stunning model-turned-TV-host-turned-designer – Alexa Chung, covers British Vogue June 2017, and she looks great on it.

British Vogue June 2017 Image

Alexa Chung is no stranger to magazine covers. She has appeared on many magazine covers already. But this British Vogue’s cover stands out from the rest. I like this bright and bold cover. It was photographed by the legendary Mario Testino and styled by Lucinda Chambers, and Chung looks all shades of amazing on it.

I have read a few negative comments about this particular Vogue cover, and I am not sure what they mean. I love the background and the red fonts on the cover, her makeup  also tick all the right boxes, so it is a good cover for me. I am not sure about outfit she has on though, or the pose, but it is still a good cover. I think Vogue did a great job with this.

I hear Alexa Chung has a new fashion label – Alexachung, and I can’t wait to see how the pieces look like. I am sure they would be super stylish, as she has an amazing fashion sense.

Speaking with Vogue’s Fashion Features Editor, Ellie Pithers; Alexa Chung spoke about why she decided to launch her fashion label and more –

“This is a moment in my life where I felt I could dedicate all my attention in one direction. Age has something to do with it… I’m young enough and excited enough to start something new, but old enough to have learnt a bit. And confident enough to think I could pull it off.”

I am happy for her. Looks like she has found herself. And I am happy she wants to open a shop. I would love to see that dream come true.

What are your thoughts on this cover? Have you read this issue? Will you be reading it?
