How to Promote your Ebook

Creating passive income streams is the most convenient way to make money online. The beauty about passive income is that you don’t have to spend time reproducing the same material over and over again. All you have to do is create the product once and make it available for your customers to buy it.

One of the most popular passive income streams is selling ebooks. And I have my very own ebook available on Amazon – How to Cash In as a Blogger.

Ebooks make valuable resources that people can buy and make use of. And there are million of people reading ebooks these days. This makes it a very profitable venture. Just like every product, to make the most out of selling ebooks you need to market them. The more people know about your ebook, the more sales you’re likely to make. Here’s how you can market your ebook and increase your sales.

  1. Tell people in your email list about your ebook

If you’ve been building an email list, this is the time tell people about your ebook. Do a one month launch of your ebook. You can share snippets of your ebook to give your email subscribers a glimpse of the value they will receive if they buy it. You can also offer discounts to those who share your book with a friend to help encourage them to invite more people to buy your ebook.

If you don’t have an email list, create a freebie related to your ebook as a lead magnet to grow your email list. This will give you an avenue to get in touch with people who will be interested in buying your ebook.

  1. Guest post on blogs where your potential buyers hang out

Some blogs have thousands of readers who stop by their blog everyday. Take hold of the opportunity by writing a blog post related to your ebook. This is the technique probloggers use to market their ebooks.

For example, some probloggers share a portion enough to be a blog post as their guest post then mention in their bio that their ebook is up for sale.

The method works extremely well when you write a value packed guest post. The idea is to position yourself as an expert and encourage them to buy your ebook.

  1. Invest in Facebook ads

Facebook is a huge social media platform with millions of active users everyday. Facebook has a highly specialized way of targeting your audience. That’s what makes Facebook ads more effective than the other ad services. So investing in Facebook ads to market your ebook will be worth the investment.

If you want to market your ebook on Facebook with ads all you have to do is to set an advertising budget and clearly define your target audience’s interest. Knowing your ideal buyers (ideal readers) is the key to successfully target your ads to ensure you have a good reach.

  1. Reach out to established bloggers in your niche

If you want to market your ebook but don’t have your own email list or enough website traffic, reach out to established bloggers in your niche and tell them about your ebook. Let them know what it’s about and how it can help their audience.

You can offer those bloggers a commission for every book they help you sell. That makes it a win for them and a win for you.

I hope these tips come in handy for someone today. And while we are on the subject of ebooks, please download my blogger friend’s (Moji from Moj in Touch) new ebook – Use What You Have: How To Take Your Dreams From Potential To Fulfil Purpose. It is an amazing inspirational book I am currently reading on my Amazon Kindle, so go have a read.

Investing in an Amazon Kindle 5 years ago was one of the best things I ever did. My clothes, shoes and bags didn’t have to compete with my ever-growing book collection.
