Product Review: Thierry Mugler Womanity Eau de Parfum

I am a perfume lover, it is a weakness of mine. However now that I work from home, I have cut back on the number of perfumes I have. I use to have about 10/12 bottles at once, but now I am quite happy with 5/6 bottles. I got the 10ml Thierry Mugler Womanity Eau de Parfum from Debenhams to try out some weeks ago and I have used quite a bit of it. Here are my thoughts:

PROS

  • It comes in a cute refillable bottle.
  • It is small enough to fit into my smallest handbag.
  • I get a lot of positive compliments when I wear it.
  • It is quite affordable at £10 for the 10ml, I used the points on my Debenhams Beauty card to buy it, yea I am a point junkie, ha.

CONS

  • I am on the fence when it comes to the smell, I think it smells like a cigarette. Not sure if I like it or not but my hubby loves it.

Product Review: Van Cleef & Arpels Reve Eau de Parfum

I have never heard of the brand – Van Cleef & Arpels.  Not until I met Reve. It was a sweet Monday morning at work and the Fragrance Direct team were in the building. I was going through the many perfumes on the table, trying to decide on the one to buy and then I saw a colleague buying Reve by Van Cleef & Arpels. I became interested, asked for a sample and that was it. I knew I had to have it.

I have had the bottle for months and I can tell you it is one of the best perfumes in the market now. It is quite pricey at £48 for the smallest bottle at 50ml but the saying “you get what you pay for” is so true in this case. This fragrance is worth every penny. Reve by Van Cleef & Arpels comes in a beautiful sensual bottle and has a long-lasting sweet fragrance that stays on all day. A trial will convince you.

Perfumes are so important to me. I love going about my daily activities smelling fabulous. I usually have about 10 bottles at a time but I am down to 8 bottles at the moment. They are necessary luxuries I cannot live without. I am currently lusting after these pretty fragrances:
