I have been a huge fan of Sleek MakeUP for a long time. I love the fact that the brand takes women of colour into consideration when creating new makeup collections, unlike some other makeup brands. Today, I am reviewing the new Sleek MakeUP Vitality Foundations and Solstice Highlighting Palette.

I have these products for weeks now and I really like them. I can definitely see myself buying these makeup products again. Here are my thoughts on them.

The Sleek MakeUP Vitality Fresh Foundation range comes in a semi-matte finish. There are various shades in the range so there should be a right shade for everyone. I got the VF08 and VF10 shades, which works great for me, since I like to mix various of foundation to get the perfect shade for my skin tone.

PROS
  1. I love the matte finish. It suits my skin tone.
  2. I love how compact the tube is. It is so easy to pop in a handbag.
  3. It is oil-free, and provides light to medium coverage.
  4. This foundation is very affordable at £8.99 each.
  5. It is a lightweight foundation with known hydrating ingredients like lotus flower, bamboo and water lily extracts.
  6. It is available in 24 shades.

Solstice Highlighting Palette

This palette includes two baked powders, one luxurious cream formula and one silky shimmer powder. It is one makeup product I see myself using for a very long time.

Solstice instantly enhances the complexion with a radiant glow, the highly pigmented metallic finishes create a gorgeous luminous sheen on the skin.

  1. It is so easy to blend.
  2. This product is not tested on animals.
  3. I love the gold packaging. I think it looks really sleek, and so compact too.
  4. It is super affordable at £10.
  5. I love the colours and the pigmentation.

Another week, another product review post. This review is all about Know Cosmetics. I had the pleasure of trying out 2 products from the beauty brand, and I am blown away by them. The KNOW  Cosmetics products I tried are No Thin Lips Secret Lip Plumper and No Bleeding Lips Secret Lip Liner.

So I found this beauty product quite interesting. It was my first time using a lip plumper and I am happy I got the amazing opportunity, even though my lips do not need any extra help. They are naturally full so I am good in that department but many do need some help every now and again, and that is where this product comes in. If you ever thought of having fuller lips, then you need to try this product. I can guarantee you won’t need to try any other product once you try this Lip Plumper. It fulfils every promise.

  1. I love the matte finish and the intensity of the colour.
  2. It is long-lasting, stays on and in place for hours.
  3. It moisturises my lips thanks to the Vitamin E and Jojoba Oil.

CONS

None.

Colorete 009 Eyeshadow

Matte eyeshadows are perfect for a natural everyday look or to provide a base colour for building, blending, highlighting or contouring.

PROS

  1. I love the smooth matte finish.
  2. I love the shade, it suits my skin tone.
  3. It is long-lasting and stays in place for hours.

Duo Kajal + Eyeliner

  4. It is waterproof and crease-proof.

All 3 products have no cons for me. I love them and I would recommend them 100%.
