Rebel Wilson Covers Cosmopolitan UK January 2016

Now this is a very different cover girl, and I am so proud of Cosmo for having a plus size woman on the cover for January 2016. The Australian actress – Rebel Wilson, is loved by many for not being your average Hollywood girl. Her funny and witty personality sets her apart from for her peers. This woman is like a breath of fresh air, I love her!

I fell in love with this Bridesmaids’ star years ago. I love her sense of humour and the way she looks at life. Everything is so easy, so black and white with her. I wish I could look at life through her eyes, so I can see what she sees.

One think Rebel is not bothered at all about is her size, and why should she be? She looks great and she has  a very pretty face.

“I wouldn’t ever want to compete with what I call ‘the glamours’ – the really gorgeous people. I’m about the brain, the heart and what’s on the inside. I feel really lucky to be the body type I am. I love me some ice cream or dessert, and it comes at times when I’m happy or sad. So when I have an incredibly successful day, I want to celebrate and reward myself with food. If I’ve had a sad or stressful day, food is also comfort. I bought this hilarious slogan sweater the other day that says, ‘Food is my only friend’. I thought it was really cute”.

Thank you Cosmo for the light price tag of £1. I see myself picking up a copy because I will like to read more about Rebel, and also, I will like to read about the products all beauty editors put on their skin too. That article sounds really interesting.

Will you be reading this January issue?

  1. I love Rebel. She is probably the funniest woman around. And kudoos to Cosmo for putting her on the cover. Next step is to put some half naked men on there as well. Not skinny women that we don’t associate with at all.

  2. I hugely rate Rebel, and love her breath-of-fresh-air attitude. The fact that she now graces the covers of magazines shows how much of an impact she’s making – plus size is beautiful xx
