CoolSculpting – Are we vain to want these beauty/skincare treatments

I am in the mood to talk about beauty/skincare treatments. The beauty article posted today is very popular at the moment, with hundreds of views. So I guess majority of us are interested in knowing more about beauty treatments that are available to us. But we also don’t want to appear vain so we tend not to talk about these things in real life. Well here on Fashion and Style Police, you can be vain all you want. I won’t judge you and I will make sure no one else does on here.

Are we vain to want these beauty/skincare treatments?

I don’t see you wanting some body changes vain. I like to get my teeth whitened as frequently as possible because I love pearly white teeth. That isn’t vain. If I can afford to have them done, and I want them, why shouldn’t I get them? That is the way I see it. Having said that, there are some cosmetic procedures I won’t go near because I don’t need or desire it. At the end of the day, it comes down to what you want and how badly you want it.

CoolSculpting Treatment

CoolSculpting is another popular treatment, and one which I would love to talk about today. I have had it twice now at 2 different clinics and I would love to have it done again. For those who have never heard of this treatment, it is a non-surgical Fat Freezing treatment. It is an innovative way to contour your body by freezing unwanted fat away for good. If you are not a fan of needles and will like to get rid of some body far in an innovative way, CoolSculpting is the treatment for you.

This treatment is  FDA cleared, so it is safe & effective. There is no downtime needed, so you can get back to your routine immediately.  However, the results may vary from person to person.

You can find out more about this treatment by watching this short YouTube video below by Pulse Light Clinic.

  1. I have heard of coolsculpting but had not actually seen it in action! Thanks for sharing 🙂 I may have to look into this?!

  2. I think that it helps some people feel more confident. I can’t do it, it’s just not something that interests me personally but I think at the end of the day when someone gets this done and I know many who have gotten this done – they feel more confident and happier. I guess that’s all that matters to me. It seems like a neat process.

  3. I don’t think it’s just for the sake of vanity. Sometimes people seek for these treatments to help regain their self confidence. It’s really different for everyone.

  4. I think you hit the nail on the head – if one can afford it. I agree with a lot of that, but despite the fact that many of my friends who are 10 years younger are having botox, I haven’t bothered. I’m glad you found this useful for you, but it’s not something I would ever consider.

    • I think it depends on what you want at the end of the day. Botox is not for me. Don’t ever think I would want that for myself. It all depends on what we want. Thanks Azlin.

  5. I do wonder about this and when I look at what’s happening to my body as I age, makes me wonder more! But I also feel like everything catches up at one point and sometimes what we do with our skin or our body can only be temporary.

  6. Nice, to be honest I haven’t seen or heard this before. Or probably, I’m just not researching about it, I am not really a fan of needle and surgery stuff, I may look further about this, interesting!
