Scooters have become very popular both in the kiddy world as well as the adult. You can even argue that they are now more popular than bikes! Almost every child wants a scooter if they don’t have one. The kids that do have scooters are asking for an upgrade. You just need to go for a walk around to see how popular scooters they are. Many kids even ride their scooters on school runs instead of walking. It is now a cool way to get the kids out and about, which is why they are a hit with kids.
My kids love riding their scooters. They have been busy riding their scooters in the neighbourhood this summer holidays, and they are now professionals on them. I enjoy watching them ride back and forth while I catch my breath on a bench in our local park. It’s a great way to get them moving in the outdoors.
Adults have also tapped into the scooter world. I now see many people riding their scooters and I think it is a fantastic way of getting around. They are cheap to run and fun to ride about especially in the warm summer days. Direct Bikes is the UK’s leading scooter brand and just one look at their website tells me why. They stock amazing scooters with various features and designs. There are so many options to choose from, there is definitely a scooter for everyone on there.
Here are three cool scooters I found on the Direct Bikes website.
Xiaomi M365 Electric Scooter UK Edition
This Xiaomi M365 Electric Scooter can go up to 15mph and travel up to 18 miles on a single charge. I love the fact that it is super lightweight and strong and durable. The unique folding design makes it so portable which is great for storing when not in use. I love all the features of this scooter.
This Segway Ninebot ES2 Scooter is another great scooter by Direct Bikes. I love how portable it is. If you are after a scooter that can go up to 15mph and travel up to 18 miles on a single charge, this is the scooter for you. It is stable, convenient and so easy to use.
Go Electric Scooter
I love the design of this Go Electric Scooter. It’s features are so amazing. The Scooter works through a simple twist-and-go handle bar accelerator. This allows the it to reach around 27mph, with the removable battery giving a range of around 37 miles on a single charge. It is definitely one to take a look at if you are thinking of buying an electric scooter.
With the prices of electric scooters and the fact that they are used on public roads, you should get them insured with a reputable scooter insurance company. Insurance is for your own protection as well as others so this is a must have if you intend to ride on public roads.
Do you ride scooters? What do you think of them? I would love to hear from you so do drop me a comment in the comments section below.
Thanks for stopping by.
Ah is that the new name for mobility scooters? LOL..I have a large scooter runs on battery charged electric. Similar to the go scooter. Total freedom for me to get out and about locally and easily. Covers a good 10 miles so can get round about in the city of where we live
Yes 😊 good it covers 10 miles. That is so handy.
I love riding scooters with the kids – they all want an electric one though
Yes everyone wants an electric scooter now.
My kids love riding their scooters around and I’m sure as they get older they will want an electric one. I used to have a 50cc scooter to get to school when I was 16 – was fun
Ah nice 😊
I have never tried a scooter. The kids love riding theirs though.
Mine love theirs too!
These are great scooters you got here. Although the Go Scooter seems comfortable with its chair, I still prefer the old school scooters where you stand on it. That Xiaomi is cheap and has all great features.
Yes the features are fab.
I love getting outdoors with the children on the scooters, although I can only just keep up with them. Maybe I need one of the electric scooters to give me a bit of a boost.
Yes go for it 😊
We bought my son a scooter for Christmas and had so much fun trying out the scooters we bought adult scooters for me and my husband too!! It’s so much fun and love going along the seafront path on our scooters. Can’t recommend enough for adults to have ago!!
Oh lovely. I can imagine you are all loving the new scooters.
We had an electric scooter about 10years ago but it was a one mile and batter died job. We do have electric items for the children though and we’ll blog about it soon as it’s all going that way isn’t it.
Yes it is.
I better not show this to Spud or the never ending Christmas list will get even bigger lol. They do look kinda cool though!
They are amazing.
The kids enjoy riding their scooters. Just dreading that they will ask a new one as a gift for Christmas. We have already a long list but hey, here’s to hoping we can buy them.
I bet they would 😊
