Charity of the Month – My CWA

The COVID-19 Pandemic has changed the lives of millions of people all over the world, The lockdown is still on where I am and we are still trying to adjust. The pandemic and lockdown has made it even harder for charities to operate. There is a lot of uncertainty and many jobs are at stake. Many have also lost their source of livelihood, which is why I can completely understand how donating to those in need may not be on your mind at the moment.Having said that, the fact remains those in need are even more in need now with the Coronavirus pandemic. Charities are having to work even harder to help those who are able to reach out to them. Which is why it is important to give to the charities dear to your heart whenever you can. You may feel like your donation is too little to give but every little helps, and that donation you think is too small may put food on the table for someone in need.

Charity of the Month – My CWA

The charity of the month this May is My CWA, formerly known as Cheshire Without Abuse. It is a  Cheshire-based charity supporting families affected by domestic abuse. This charity has been in operation for over 40 years now and they help domestic violence victims. My CWA provides temporary safe accommodation to domestic violence victims. The charity also offers drop-in advice, legal clinics and a wide range of support groups and recovery programmes. There are also counselling and specialist children’s support programmes.

I think My CWA is offering a very important service in Cheshire. The charity has changed the lives of many domestic violence victims. This is one charity worth supporting especially if you live in Cheshire UK.

You can read about other amazing charities I have written about here. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week ahead.
