It has been raining cats and dogs this week in Cheshire, and all the rain has got me thinking more about investing in some quality light coats for spring. The rainy season can get really messy, so getting some more outerwear for the weather is a must for many of us. If you are feeling the same way and looking to get some stylish coats for the wet season, here are some fashionable ideas for you –

I really like this coat. It looks amazing on the model. I love the khaki green colour and simple design. It is quite long which is great for being out and about in the rain. I can see myself grabbing one of these this season. It also comes in grey but I prefer this colour. It is currently priced at £62. What do you think of this coat by Next?

This is another beautiful coat for spring. Joules is a brand I have not really explored and I really don’t know why. I plan to grab a few pieces from Joules this spring/summer season to see what the brand is like. This stylish coat is high on my wish-list this season. It comes in a beautiful mushroom shade, and you can also get one in a navy blue shade. This gorgeous coat is currently priced at £89.95. Are you a fan?

I am really feeling this nude shade this season. It seems many of the light coats for spring are available in the brown/tan shade and they look amazing. This stylish coat from Bonmarché is no exception. I love the relaxed fit and the beautiful colour. It also comes in a navy blue shade which is great. The model is wearing this coat so well, the light price tag of £35 makes this coat even more attractive. What are your thoughts on this beauty?

3 Decluttering Tips for Spring

Spring is in full swing and the time has come for lighter pieces and colourful accessories. It is the season for decluttering, so if you on the hunt for decluttering tips for spring, you have landed on the right page! I have busy doing some spring cleaning and decluttering, and I have let go so many old and unwanted items from my wardrobe. Decluttering is always fun for me because it allows me let go unwanted clothing and accessories, which creates the much needed space for items i really need in my wardrobe.

Here are 3 decluttering tips for spring –

Separate the Seasons

Separating items in your wardrobe by seasons helps everything stay organised and in the right compartment. It also helps me find items easily and aids the overall decluttering process. You may find it easier to declutter by seasons. So you can get rid of unwanted spring and summer items at the start of spring for example. That way, your wardrobe stays organised for the new season and you have a good item of items you need once you have completed the decluttering process.

Sell unwanted items online

You can sell items you no longer need online. eBay is a great platform to start with, especially if you are looking to get rid of preloved designer items. I have been selling on eBay for many years and I have had quite a good experience overall. There are also many websites available to sell unwanted items, so do some research and find the right platform for you.

Buy less

Another great decluttering tip is to buy less, and stick to a capsule wardrobe. That way, you won’t have to declutter as much or as frequently. Buying less is also better for the planet and your wallet, so this is one tip I am seriously embracing and doing more of going forward. Like with many things, less is more…
