Product Review: Garnier Organic Perfecting Toner

This week’s review is all about the amazing Garnier Organic Perfecting Toner with purifying Thyme! I have been using this toner since my last toner finished, and I really like it. It ticks all my skincare boxes and it does the job perfectly!

Organic Thyme Essential Oil, Organic Barley Water, and Salicylic Acid.

I have been using this organic toner twice a day for a few weeks now and I am finally in the position to share my thoughts on it:

PROS
  1. It purifies my skin, removing any leftover traces of makeup/dirt.
  2. I love the natural aromatic fragrance a lot!
  3. The packaging is compact, made with 100% recyclable plastic, and the bottle is 100% recyclable.
  4. No animal-derived ingredients were used in the making of this toner.
  5. I love how smooth and supple my skin is after using this toner.

  7. I like the fact that Garnier Organic Perfecting Toner is great for all skin types, including sensitive skin. My skin is quite sensitive
CONS

None.

I really like this organic toner. There is really nothing not to like with this product. If you are after an organic purifying toner, this Garnier Organic Perfecting Toner is the one for you. It works amazingly well, and the formula is Vegan and so gentle. I can see myself using this toner over and over again. It is now one of my go-to organic toners.

Product Review: Lancôme Miracle Eau de Parfum

Another week, another product review post! This time it is all about the amazing Lancôme Miracle Eau de Parfum. I am a fan of Lancôme perfumes and I have used a few of them over the years. This fab perfume by Lancôme is one of my favourites. I have used it many times and it never fails to impress me. Lancôme Miracle Eau de Parfum is a vibrant, sparkling fragrance, launched in 2000.

Top notes

A fruity floral accord that combines juicy Lychee with the sparkling accents of Freesia.

Heart notes

Delicate Magnolia pairs with passionate notes of Bourbon Pepper and Ginger.

Base notes

The deep glow of Absolute Jasmine kindled by the warm, sensuous notes of Musk and Amber.

Product Description

This fragrance can be exactly described by two words: liveliness and revelation. The beauty lies in living, in preserving interests, in seeing and treasuring every second of life as a miracle, and in the ability to start all over again. Uma Turman is the face of Miracle and is a beautiful and delightful woman. Miracle is a modern and oriental fragrance with fruity openings such as litchi, there are also slight hints of spiced flowers, throughout the heart of the fragrance notes from magnolia, jasmine, ginger and pepper all appear.

Here are my thoughts on this Lancôme Miracle Eau de Parfum:

PROS
  • I love the bottle. It is simple and pretty.
  • The fruity fragrance smells amazing and it is long lasting.
  • It reminds me of my teenage years. I used it quite a lot growing up and it brings back memories.
  • I like the fact that the fragrance is not overwhelming. It is just right.

Product Review: Hugo Boss Deep Red

Hugo Boss is a well known brand I have had the pleasure of shopping many times. I remember using the Hugo Boss Intense perfume many years ago and I still remember the amazing fragrance. The Deep Red Hugo Boss perfume is one I have come across many times. I have given it away as a perfume and I think I have used it before now but I am not too sure. Anyways, I had the opportunity to use this perfume again and I decided to review it as well.

Hugo Boss Deep Red was launched in 2001. The notes are:

Top Notes

Blood Orange, Black Currant, Clementine, Pear and Mandarin Orange.

Middle Notes

Ginger, Ginger flower, Tuberose, Freesia and Hibiscus Seed.

Base Notes

Vanilla, Sandalwood, Musk and California Cedar.

Here are my thoughts on this perfume:

PROS
  • I like the light fruity-floral fragrance. It smells nice and not too overpowering.
  • It is great for the spring/summer months.
  • The red bottle is a beauty.
  • It is an EDP fragrance so it contains more perfume oil.

CONS
  • The scent is not long lasting at all for me. It only stays on for a couple of hours. I like my perfumes long lasting so I will probably not be using Hugo Boss Deep Red again.
