Shop for Feminine Accessories

The easiest way to dress more feminine is to add some feminine accessories to your wardrobe. Some of my favourite accessories are headbands, belts, scarves, and the likes. You can easily look more feminine just by adding a colourful belt like the lovely model above has done. Headbands are my daughter’s favourite accessory and it is because they are so girly and pretty. You can a headband with a bow or flower, or you can tie a scarf for a more dainty touch.

If you are low on budget and can’t afford to really go all out and shop for new pieces, just make do with some bright coloured accessories.

Go for Colourful Pieces

Shopping for colourful pieces is another quick way to create a more feminine capsule wardrobe. The more colourful, the more feminine, so you may want to steer clear of dark and monochrome colours, and go for more brights instead. Obviously you are not going to walk around looking like a rainbow just to appear more feminine. Instead you will be blending more colourful pieces together that look good. Colours like purple, pink and bright blue are considered feminine colours.  So a bright blue skirt would look lovely paired with a light pink blouse, and black heels.

Choose Well-fitted Clothes

To look more feminine you would want to wear clothes that are well-fitted. There is no room for ill-fitted or baggy pieces. You would want clothes that fit you like a glove. If your clothes are too baggy, it would hide your body, and if it is too tight it would distort some areas.

Do you prefer to dress more feminine? Apart from wearing dresses and skirts, do you have any other tried and tested tip to share?

Summer Designer Dresses I Want

We are currently baking in the sunshine, thanks to the crazy heatwave! The weather has been painfully warm for a few days now, and it looks like the sunshine is going to hang around for a bit longer.

With the weather being so warm, it feels like summer is here already, which is fab for dress lovers like me. When the weather gets dead warm, all I want to have on is a dress. Wearing anything else usually does my head in. Wearing a dress keeps me comfy and stylish, so it is a win-win in the summer months.

I have been doing some online shopping for some dresses to add to my wardrobe this summer. I recently stumbled upon OD’s Designer Clothing website, and I am loving some of the fancy designer dresses they have in stock. If you know me well enough, you would know how much I like my designer labels, so this post should come as no surprise.

Here are a few of the summer dresses that caught my eye  –

OOTD: Casual Spring Look

I love denim. I think it is one of the greatest fashion inventions ever! It is loved by many, very durable and manageable, and so easy to style. What is there not to love?

I have been wearing denim for as long as I can remember, and I see myself wearing it forever. It is one trend that will always be in vogue! I can’t see myself ever losing interest.

The kids have been on holiday, so the last couple of days have been all about them. I have been trying to keep them busy, so we have been out and about a lot. I wore this denim outfit on one of our many trips. It was the fastest outfit I could style up in a few minutes, and I found it very comfortable.

For this Double Denim Look, I am rocking all old pieces. I have had all pieces and accessories for some time now, and just styled them in a different way. That is the beauty of having a capsule wardrobe, you can always step up looking different in your regular pieces. It works every time.

The highlight of this look for me will have to be the denim shirt. I really like it. I have had it for many months now, but whenever I wear it, it always feels like I am wearing it for the first time because of how much I like it. It stands out from everything else on the high street, and I always get compliments from complete strangers whenever I have it on. I also really like my gold trainers, that stands out as well!
