OOTD: Oversized Jumper Look

Hey peeps. I have another outfit post for your viewing and commenting pleasure. This is my 3rd outfit post of the year, and I am very happy with my progress so far, as far as outfit posts are concerned. I am slaying, if I may say so myself.

You will easily catch me rocking an oversized jumper these days. I love the oversized jumper look. It is just super comfy for these extra chilly days. I also find them very easy to style with good old leggings. It is a look anybody can get right. It is so easy, I don’t have to over think or second guess the styling. An oversized jumper look is great for those days when I want to look casual but chic, and it works every time.

I had the golden opportunity to pick out some pieces by Apricot, and I was super thrilled. It was my first time shopping the brand and I was well impressed with website; so easy to navigate. My order went smoothly and I got my pieces in about 3 days, which is fantastic with the crazy January sales going on. I wasn’t expecting to my delivery to come so quickly.

Speaking of January sales, have you spotted any crazy bargains? I have seen a few online and in stores, and I did get a few things. I suggest you get in their as soon as possible and grab what you need while they are on sale. All the pieces I got from Apricot were half price. I am wearing 2 of them here, and will be featuring the other 2 pieces in a different outfit post.

Worst Dressed Women at The MET Gala 2014

Here are my worst dressed women at the MET Gala 2014.

1. Anna Wintour

The queen herself did not represent last night. I am not a fan of her Chanel dress. Too many things going on with the dress and she should have worn it without the necklace. I will score her 3/10 for this look.

2. Solange Knowles

Solange

I am so disappointed in Solange. This dress does nothing for her slender body frame. She needs to lose this 3.1 Philip Lim dress. I score her 4/10.

3. Katie Holmes

This mustard Machesa gown did absolutely nothing for Katie Holmes. Her hair and make-up is also wrong. She should have packed her hair up. I score her 2/10, sorry Katie.

4. Lena Dunham

Lena Dunham is always on my worst dressed list. She has a permanent spot on it. I am waiting for the day she will surprise me. She is wearing a Giambattista Vali couture dress. I score her 1/10.

5. Giovanna Battaglia

Giovanna is wearing a black sheer dress by Dolce and Gabbana. She over accessorized this look with the big earrings and necklace. Also, the dress does nothing for her body shape. 0/10.
