The lovely Lauryn Hill is the Iconic Look for the month September. I grew up listening to The Fugees and I have always been a huge fan of this amazing woman. Her sultry voice is amazing to listen to and her type of music is still one of my favourites. I find myself listening to The Fugees on my Alexa every now and again. Their albums are evergreen.

Lauryn Hill’s style was and still is so cool. She always stands out from the rest for all the good reasons, and it is clear she is always true to herself. If you are after the latest trends and styles, you won’t find them on Lauryn Hill. She is not that type of style icon. However, if you are after a true signature look, then she will be right up your street! Her style has evolved in an amazing way and she still looks so good, like she hasn’t aged a day. Another thing I really like about this amazing woman is her hair; it always catches my attention. Back in the days, she made me love locs so much! They looked amazing on her and all her other hairstyles always stand out and so do her accessories. If I am in need of a scarf or turban inspiration, Lauryn Hill would do the work for me.

One of the things I really loved about Elizabeth Taylor is that she aged beautifully and naturally, which was a lovely sight to behold, in comparison with some other celebrities who have tried to fight Mother Nature.

I found it very interesting to discover that Elizabeth Taylor applied her own makeup on and off screen. Her makeup always looked lovely so she must have been very talented.
