Beauty Muse: Zoe Kravitz

Hey beauty lovers! Another week in the new week, another beauty blog post. The first beauty muse for the year 2022 is the stunning Zoe Kravitz. This beauty is an American actress, singer, and model. She is the daughter of Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz, and she is featured in big hits like Big Little Lies, X-Men First Class. This talented beauty muse is also featured in The Batman as Catwoman, which is due to be released later this year.

Beauty Muse: Zoe Kravitz

Zoe Kravitz’s facial features are striking and always catch my attention. She has the most beautiful skin and her makeup is always on point. I was not surprised to discover Kravitz gets her beauty philosophy from her mum – Lisa Bonet. Here are some of her tried and tested beauty tips from an interview she had with Women’s Health Mag:

Coconut Oil and Tea Tree Essential Oil

“Coconut oil is wonderful, I use it on my body. Every time I get out of the shower, I put coconut oil on. It’s great,”

I agree with Zoe on this one. I love using coconut oil and I use it every day. It is a great skin and hair moisturiser. I always ensure I have a bottle of natural coconut oil in my bathroom cabinet every time. It is so handy to have around.

She also revealed she uses tea tree oil because it’s “great for blemishes.”

Tea Tree Essential Oil is amazing. I have used it for many years in a variety of ways and it is so great. To get rid of blemishes, dab a few drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil on the area.

Like I mentioned in this post, I have essential bottles for sale, and Tea Tree Essential Oils are currently in stock. You can shop them here. To read her full interview, click on here.

Beauty Muse – Sharon Stone

The lovely and talented actress –  Sharon Stone is a forever beauty muse. She looks amazing for a 63-year-old. I have been a huge fan of this beauty for many years. I still remember the first movie I saw her in (King Solomon’s Mines) back in the early nineties, and I have seen many more of her movies since then.

Sharon Stone definitely deserves the spot this month as a Beauty Muse on Fashion and Style Police. She has also featured as a Beauty Muse on Vogue earlier this year. I came across the article and was blown away by some of Stone’s quotes. Here are a few of my favourites:

On the secret to her youthful appearance

“I’m just happy – a happy person,” she once said. “The idea that being youthful is the only thing that’s beautiful or attractive simply isn’t true. I don’t want to be an ‘ageless beauty’, I want to be a woman who is the best I can be at my age.”

She is clearly a very happy person, always full of smiles on the red carpet. Happiness starts from within and it is amazing to see a woman her age embracing all parts of herelf and staying in her happy place. Sharon Stone is a breath of fresh air!

Her makeup artist – Amy Oresman speaks on Sharon Stone’s beauty

“Sharon is fearless and her zest for life is infectious,” says her make-up artist of over a decade, Amy Oresman. “She understands what real beauty is: self-love and self-care. Her looks are timeless because she knows beauty is not an hourglass, slowly dripping into nothingness.”

Real beauty is definitely self-love and self-care. That is the secret to staying healthy and youthful. If you struggle with caring for yourself or loving yourself, no matter of makeup or skincare would hide the effects on your skin.

Beauty Muse – Celeste

The lovely American-British singer and songwriter – Celeste is the Beauty Muse for the month of November. This talented soulful singer is beauty goals all day, everyday! I love her hair so much. It gives me a lot of inspiration and looks amazing on her. Her skin is also really flawless and gorgeous.

I read an interview Celeste had with guys at Glamour Magazine and I really enjoyed reading all about her beauty and skincare tips. It was interesting to read that this Beauty Muse only used two skincare products. Many of us get caught in using all kinds of skincare and beauty products at the same time that it is sometimes to decide which is actually doing the work and which isn’t.

Here are some excerpts from Celeste’s interview with Glamour Magazine

On her skincare products:

When I do my own makeup, I use two skincare things. One’s called Monroeand it’s like a nonbinary skincare brand. I put that on at night and I don’t wear foundation or anything. Then I genuinely, I have a Gucci lipstick called Myra Crimson and I just dab that on my cheeks and then put it on my lips.

Her simple routine is like a breath of fresh air. I will be looking up the Monroeand skincare brand.

On accepting your facial features:

I think it takes a while to like and accept your face. Whether it’s your skin or the shape of your nose or your eyelashes or whatever. You get to a point where you just, you have to accept yourself. Instead of every time you look at yourself challenging yourself and saying ‘why don’t I look at this?’

I agree, it can take a while to really embrace all parts of yourself, but once you do, you become unstoppable.
